Elena curled up in a ball, crying her heart out. It was nearly two am in the morning, and she had just returned from her duties.
She missed her home. She desperately wanted to go back to the Ash pack and be their slave forever. She missed Elijah, she even missed Malia and her tricks. If she could sell her soul to go back to her old life she would.
Marcus was the devil himself.
Her back felt like it had been lit on fire, fire that refused to die out. Every nerve in her body felt agitated and raw. Her head throbbed, her throat felt dry from the times she'd cried and cried and screamed with no one to hear her voice.
She hugged herself as hard as she could, sobbing into her knees as quietly as she could because the last time Marcus heard her crying he burst into her room and gagged her for the rest of the night.
It had only been three days, but it felt like forever.
The rules were simple, very simple in fact one would believe that it was difficult to mess it up. The only problem was that it was virtually impossible to please Marcus. If he found even a single speck of dust on the glass table, he had her do the whole room over again. When he found a crease in one of his shirts, he made her iron it again while a corded whip tore her back apart with the force of his whips. And when she got blood on it he grabbed her face and slammed it into the ironing board till her nose bled.
Elena turned in bed, trying to find a comfortable angle for her sore and aching body. She wasn't successful.
She closed her eyes and wished desperately that she would wake up in the drab attic room with the bugs and the dampness. That she'd hear Elijah's voice screaming her name and telling her to move her lazy bum.
She shoved her fist into her mouth to muffle her sobs. She just wanted to go home.
She heard movement outside her door and stilled, fear seeping into her heart.
"Elena," She heard Marcus say. Oh boy he sounded annoyed.
She rose to her feet and wiped her eyes. "Yes sir?" She rushed to the door and threw it open. Marcus was standing outside, his hair falling over his shoulders. He was shirtless, dressed in a loose pair of sweatpants.
"What are you doing?"
"I..." She paused, tears choking her. She turned her head and drew in a deep breath, she couldn't break down in front of him at all.
"Are you crying?"
She turned to him. Slowly she nodded.
"Why are you crying Elena?"
"I...I miss my home."
Marcus scoffed. "Home? You call that place home?"
She bit her lip. "It was .."
"Your uncle beat you up everyday and made you a slave. From what I hear, you are supposed to be the rightful alpha, but you can't even wolf out. What is there about Ash pack to miss?"
Elena couldn't describe how deep his words cut her. "You're doing the same thing!" She screamed before she could stop herself. She saw a flash of surprise through Marcus' eyes. "I'm sorry, I didn't...."
"Oh but my dear, you are the cause of your own misfortune."
Elena felt her body trembling with fear. She kept her eyes glued to the floor. She feared for what Marcus might do to her.
"Come with me."
She obeyed without a second thought. He opened the door to his room. It was lit in a low yellow light that gave it a warm look. Elena felt her stomach flip. She had only been in his room to clean and nothing else. She couldn't help but become painfully aware of how exposed she felt, dressed in a nightdress while he in just sweatpants. He walked over to a cabinet
"Take your clothes off and lay on the bed, face down."
She froze.
"Sir?"
"Did I ask you to speak?"
Her heart raced. He was searching for something in the cabinets, his back completely turned to her. She knew better than disobey him, but this order was too much. Slowly, she grabbed the hem of her nightgown and pulled it off her. She folded it and kept it aside then crawled into the bed. The cool air on her fresh wounds made her hiss in pain.
"Was I too hard on you?" She heard Marcus ask. He must've joined her on the bed because she felt his weight dip the bed.
"Y-yes"
He hummed. She caught the scent of spirit. "Move closer to me." She obeyed, keeping her face buried in the soft mattress. "Do you think you deserve mercy?"
"Yes, alpha."
There was silence. Then the sound of a liquid being poured. It took a moment, but it set in. A burning pain exploded all over her back. She screamed before she could stop herself. She tired to jump out of the bed but he was quicker than her. He trapped her body underneath his, and to her horror she could feel his erection pressing into her ass.
"You servants can really be ungrateful, you know that?" Marcus said with a sigh. "I give you food, I give you shelter, I pay you, and you want me to treat you like a princess."
"I'm sorry!" She screamed, sobbing into the mattress. "Please forgive me, I'm sorry!"
"Really? Why should I forgive you?"
"I'm really sorry," She sobbed, utterly defeated. She understood Nina. No one could last a week doing this. Marcus flipped her around. He grabbed her hair and pushed her into the mattress, settling between her legs. She trembled with fear at where this was going.
"No, I don't think you've learned your lesson enough." He said with an eye roll. "But it's okay, I can teach you."
She felt a new kind of pain, like her crotch was being torn apart. Her back arched and she screamed, her voice pained. She pleaded and begged for mercy but none would come from the ruthless alpha thrusting into her without mercy.
Elena cried out to the moon goddess, her heart splitting from all the pain that was inflicted upon her. Amidst the pain that was rushing through her body she felt a hum building. A cracking sound filled the air and screams fell from her lips non stop. With strength she didn't know she had, she pushed Marcus off her. She could feel something building inside her.
It felt odd but comfortable. It took her seeing her own fur to realize that she had shifted into her wolf form.
Howling that she couldn't believe was hers filled her ears. She stared at Marcus and fury filled her heart. She lunged at him but stopped halfway before instantly shifting into a human. She found that she wasn't so weak anymore, there was a strength filling her body. Her back didn't hurt as much as it should, but the pain in her crotch was still there. She grabbed her night gown and ran.
"Elena!" She heard Marcus yell behind her.
She didn't stop. She ran past the servants quarters and out of the house. She felt someone grab her hand and screamed.
"It's me, calm down." It was Nina.
"What are you doing?"
Nina shoved a dagger into Elena's hand. "It has wolfsbane. Run. Don't even stop okay!"
"Thank you, thank you so much!"
"Just go!"
Elena turned and ran, clutching the dagger close to her heart. As she ran, she felt something change inside of her.
She didn't feel so weak anymore.
Elena ran as fast as her legs could carry her, but she found that she was losing strength quickly. Her mouth hung open and heavy hot breaths escaped her lips. She could feel a burning in her lungs, her steps were starting to slow very gradually. The cold night wind crashing into her made her realize that she was still naked. She cursed her ignorance silently, wondering why she didn't grab her clothes before she ran away. With bitterness she remembered what happened before she ran.Marcus took advantage of her.She skidded to a stop, leaning on a tree trunk. She drew in large gulps of air, trying to calm her racing heart and burning lungs. She was cold but beads of sweat tricked down her forehead and back. She discovered that she was trembling, but she wasn't sure if it was from fear, excitement or a mix of both. She shivered and hugged herself tighter. She had put quite a bit of distance between her and the pack house, now she wondered how she was going to survive. She didn't even ha
Elena hugged herself her skinny arms barely providing the comfort she sought. She curled up into a fetal position, a shiver running through her body every two seconds. Her eyes fluttered, unable to stay focused, her vision seemed to adopt a state of permanent blurriness. She was drifting in and out of consciousness, staying awake was proving to be a major problem. The cold jagged concrete floor of the cell cut into her skin and made sleeping very uncomfortable. She was still naked. Her wounds had stopped bleeding but they still hurt. The smell in the tiny cell was very strong, it smelled of mold and decay and death, her nose was overwhelmed and had lost its ability a while ago. She brought her hands up to her face, her fingers were dirty and turning blue. She dropped them to the floor, utterly defeated. Her eyes slowly came to a focus on the metal that caged her in. If only she had her strength as a full wolf, breaking those bars would be nothing. She could tell, this prison was built
Nina had said that there was a small door, was she mistake?Elena frantically ran her hand over the wall. About to go full blown panic mode, her finger tips brushed against what felt like wood in the wall. She pushed it hard and a small door was revealed. She wasted no time crawling into it.She drank some of the water and ate the bread Nina had given her. Water had never tasted so good to her before. The tunnel stretched on. Nina crawled as fast as she could. She came out in the forest. Without wasting time, she began to run. She had no idea where she was going, but she ran. She didn't know how strength filled her, but it was there. After hours of running, she arrived at a pack house. Immediately, a group of people rushed out and met her. She went down on her knees and raised her hands up to show surrender."Who are you?" One of the people asked harshly"Who sent you?!" Another one asked."N-no one!" She screamed. "I'm running for my life!""Which pack are you from?""Ash pack!"The
Marcus wiped blood splatters off his chin. He stared at the girl at his feet, disgust and hatred burning in his eyes. She was naked, her porcelain fair skin riddled with whip lashes. She was bleeding in some areas, he found the bright red blood a beautiful contrast to her fair skin. He remembered someone who had an even more beautiful contrast between her blood and her skin, and his body bristled with anger once more. He brought the whip down on her, the sound it made slicing through the air was terrifying. It connected with the girl's body, tearing open her flesh. She barely flinched in response to it, already used to the pain. Marcus breathed heavily, his hair hanging out of it's formerly ponytail. He pushed the loose strands out of his face, beads of sweat on his brow."Get up." He spat with vitriol. The girl raised her head and looked at him. She was smiling. "Wow, you're really worked up today." She said with a cheerful voice. She sat up fully and did a small stretch, throwing h
Marcus grabbed the side of her head and slammed her into the ground. She gasped, her eyes fluttering shut. She moaned softly, "yes, alpha, that's what I like to see."Marcus grabbed her long blond hair and pulled her up. Her lip was split, and a bruise was fast spreading across her face. Just as fast as it was appearing, it was disappearing. Her cheeks were flushed with arousal, her lips slightly parted. On a normal day, the sight would have pleased Marcus greatly. All he could feel was disgust. He tossed her aside and rose from the bed. He took a shirt from his wardrobe and put it on."Who would believe you're so worked up about a maid?!" Susan scoffed, distaste in her voice. "She's just an easily replaceable doll, why are you so bothered about her?"Marcus turned to her. "Bothered?! Susan, I think you have the wrong idea here. She ran away, and got away with it. Who does that?!"Susan flashed him a look of disbelief. "It's more than that, and you know it.""When I find her, she will
"That's great news " Lina said hearing the old woman's words.Elena froze."Pregnant? I cannot be Pregnant how?" She thought to herself. Lina noticed the look on her face, causing her initial Joy to fade away into worry."So...not great then?" Lina uttered. Hearing this, Elena began to form one of her fake smiles, smiles that she had well perfected, one that she engineered instinctively, because the last thing she wanted to do was to explain why. "No no, I'm just shocked, it was unexpected" She ended up conjuring. Seeing the smile, Lina smiled as well, taking a seat beside her and giving her a reassuring short hug.Elena was confused, did she see right through the smile? Was this meant to be some sort of congratulation? As her mind pondered, she had to do her best to fight off tears on receiving it. When last had she even felt somebody this physically close to her that wasn't a male, Or received a hug that wasn't something fake to bring her hopes up, only to batter that very ho
Once again, Marcus was at it with Susan, sweat trickled down his face as he whipped her ceaselessly, if only he could enjoy it as much as she did. They were at it for several rounds already, the whole floor filled with blood and palettes of flesh but he just wasn't satisfied, he just wasn't okay and the moment her face or name crossed through his mind, he became more and more stressed and upset. How could he let this happen?Let her slip from his grasp?Or even let her get to him in the first place, or was the goddess wrong?Except it was just him, maybe he had Elena in mind so much that he mixed the image of his mate with Elena's image. It all just couldn't make any sense, at this point, it was better off being Susan, but Elena?! Marcus stopped and sighed, he picked up a stool, throwing it to the wall in agitation watching as it smashed into different pieces. "I haven't seen you this upset since Elen..." Susan was about to say but Marcus couldn't even bare the sound of her name a
Reminisce 10 years agoThe wind whistled violently as cold air brushed hard against the skin of 12 year old Elena. She and her father had just gotten back from a play date with her best friend. She was helping him with tools to fix something wrong with their car, before the snowstorm hit.It was rough and seemed agitated like the moon goddess subtly wanted to end some lives without actually ending some lives...if that even makes sense.Stuck in her head, Elena turned her gaze to the sky, hoping to find the moon or the setting sun but nothing seemed in sight. The only thing at that point that illuminated the area were streets and house lights, with the sky doing the best it could to tell its subject that it was still day time."Screwdriver..." Her father said trying to inspect some parts of the car engine."Screwdriver Elena '' he repeated, noticing that she was absent minded."Elena?... Elena!" He called out once more, increasing his voice hoping to catch her attention but she didn'
