“What is this place?” The helicopter eventually arrived at New York and landed in a helipad of a building she had never seen before. As she looked down, she saw a gathering of people who were entering the building one by one.
They all looked like important people. Karina thought her dress was fancy enough but almost everyone was dressed in similar fashion as hers. These people were out of her league.
They were the kind she only saw once in a while in movies. It felt surreal and she almost felt out of place when Eden grabbed her hand and asked her to come with him.
They entered the lift and once it was opened, she saw a grand ballroom filled with people. There were tables on each side of the room for the guests.
