Episode 11

I still say by that corner. I hid myself against the thick curtains, my body shivered profusely in fear.

A lot of questions had been running through my mind, I needed some answers too, I needed to visit my parents, they deserved a final goodbye that I never got the chance to say.

I needed to know why this man bought me from Delvin, what was he going to do with me. The thought of it frightened me more. I wouldn't be here if my parents were to be alive.

An unexpected wail bubbled up from my chest as I thought of my parents, my heart began to ache more.

A knock on the door startled me, then I heard the sound of keys inserted into the key frame. The opened and someone walked in. I guess maybe it was one of the maids, with food for me. But I wasn't hungry, food was one of my least concerns now.

"Miss?"

"Sarah?"

I heard the Italian ascent voice call my name and then I knew it was Hilda.

"Where are you Miss?"
