Chapter 31 - piecing the puzzle isn’t easy

There was a storm brewing in the Wreath household. Miranda Wreath has expressed her disapproval concerning her marriage with the Blades but her mother would not allow it.

“If you call off this impending marriage, the Blades would come after you. They take care of us. From the time you were born and everything you have is from them,” Donna, Miranda’s mother explained. Her husband died after she birthed Miranda and she suspected it to be the Blade’s doing but lacked proof.
