I awoke to the biggest smile on my face, it seemed unnatural to feel this happy. I felt as if I had floated up above my body into the clouds just watching my life play out from afar. I could feel the dull ache between my legs and my cheeks coated in a pink blush remembering last night.

I stared down at the ring that once more sat upon my fourth finger, it sparkled in the daylight beautifully. I know Zac said not to take it off but … I wanted to get a closer look without smacking myself in the face. It really was perfect. I thumbed the ring and noticed it held an engraving, how did I not see this before?

Was the inscription inside, my heart swelled with love and my eyes started to swim with tears. He was so perfect, so thoughtful. I slipped the ring back on brushing the few tears back just incase he returned. Damn these hormones my emotions are constantly all over the place.
