I made a mistake.

I realized it with a sinking feeling as the days passed in a blur. It was like each one blended into the next like water. The first day, I told myself Ronan would come back. He would open the door, walk through it and there would be some explanation. He would tell me it was a misunderstanding or just a test of my loyalty.
