Chapter 87 “Why would you say that?!” Damien yelled at the elders. “You all can't say that just by looking at her,” Draven said to her. “She is yet to wolf out. We all know that this is a popular knowledge. Everyone knows this,” The elders stated their claims looking at Anastasia with disdain. “That still doesn’t give you all the right to call her names!” Draven suddenly shouted at them now as he could feel anger coursing through his veins. “We will all find out today. We would finally know who is going to be the true Luna,” The elders said and they agreed within themselves. Darius was calm as he watched the argument before him. He could tell from Anastasia’s behavior that she was already feeling bad and withdrawn. He wondered if she would be able to get through with the duel between her and Alexa. “She is strong and you all shouldn't act like you know her so well,” Darius said suddenly and all the concubines immediately started murmuring amongst themselves. Darius wondered if
Chapter 88 The shout of the crowd was so loud as the starting bell rang. They all seemed so excited as the fight between Alexa and Anastasia began. Alexa wasted no time in sending Anastasia some blows which landed squarely on her stomach. Anastasia holds her belly as she winces in pain, then tries to send her blows to Alexa but Alexa dogged them like they were nothing. “All you need to say is you forfeit,” Alexa yelled, loud enough for Anastasia who was opposite her to hear amidst the noise of cheering from the crowd. “Alexaaa!” The members of the packs screamed and even some of the concubines who were enjoying the scene in front of them were watching the fight with so much relish. Alexa circled Anastasia again and Anastasia tried once again to land a punch on her cheek, but, every attempt at this failed as Alexa was able to seamlessly dodge all, making Anastasia punch space. “I knew she really wouldn’t be able to win against Alexa,” Naomi, one of the gold concubines, said gigg
Chapter 89 The silence from the crowd was almost deafening as Alexa screamed, holding her eyes, writhing in pain. She could even feel blood slowly trickling down her face. “You’re gonna die now!” A shrill female voice shouted from where the members of the pack were sitting and immediately they all began to chant together, “Kill her! Kill her! kill her” Anastasia backed away from Alexa as she had even been surprised when her punch landed on Alexa’s face. She was so shocked it had happened that way because she had least expected it. She could see Alexa now vibrating in anger and she began moving backward out of fear that seemed to suddenly take over her. Alexa screamed as she shifted into her wolf form and immediately ran towards Anastasia who began running around the arena with the wolf in hot pursuit but she couldn’t even go far before Alexa’s wolf pounced on her. “She is going to get killed now,” Vixen said and was surprisingly looking so nervous as she began biting her nails.
Chapter 90 Alexa was in Damien’s bed. She had been carried from the training ground to his bed for her treatments and recovery. Damien had decided that it was best to carry her into his room rather than her own because Alexa was his concubine after all and he would be able to easily take care of her and watch her. Alexa was in a coma with a bandage on her head and a cast on her leg. She had pointed to both her head and leg at the training ground uttering the word pain before she finally lost consciousness. The Lycan triplets were all inside Damien’s room now with her and they had all moved to a part of the room to have a serious discussion. “Out with it Draven, what are you hiding?” Damien asked his brother as he was getting furious now. “Yes Draven, we all saw what happened in the training ground. If Anastasia isn't a half witch then who or whatever is she?” Darius asked too, wondering now what Anastasia was. Draven decided there and then that there wasn't any reason to keep hi
Chapter 91 There was silence again in the room as the Lycans waited patiently for what Esther would want to say because they weren't even sure how much she had heard. Esther on the other hand couldn't stop the fear she felt which was not because of the Lycan triplets who were in front of her but because of everything she had overheard them discuss. “You aren't saying anything,” Darius said, breaking the silence. “I am just surprised at how much I didn't even know was going on,” Esther replied, shocked at her realization. The triplets looked at each other because her statement could only mean one thing. She had overheard something or everything they had discussed. “What did you hear?” Draven probed her. Esther kept quiet as she was still processing her thoughts. She couldn't even understand everything they had said but one thing she knew was the fact that Anastasia didn't even have the slightest idea what they knew about her. “Are you going to tell Anastasia who she is?” Esther
Chapter 92 Damien carried Anastasia to her bed as he began calming her down with soothing words. Anastasia just couldn't keep her emotions at bay as she continued bawling her eyes out. “I mean I don't even know what happened,” Anastasia sniffed and said then began crying all over again. Damien pulled her into his arms as his heart softened towards her. He felt guilt tug at his heart. He knew she was this way because of him after all he had been the one who had instructed Romeo on what to do with her. “It’s okay Anastasia,” Damien said softly to her as he began patting her back. “I wish I could go back in time Damien. I mean what if I am not a normal werewolf? What am I going to do?” Anastasia asked Damien with a painful expression on. “I want you to know this Anastasia, no matter what comes up later, know that I and my brothers will support you and accept you wholeheartedly,” Damien told Anastasia as he looked directly into her eyes. Anastasia hugged Damien tightly because she
Chapter 93 Damien knew it was time to stop the interrogation as he could even hear Anastasia's voice almost sounding shaky. “You miss her don't you?” Damien asked Anastasia. “A lot. I believe if she had still been alive my whole world and life would have been different,” Anastasia replied to Damien and he nodded again. He thought of asking her how she would feel if her mum turned out to be alive but decided against it. He didn't want to hear her response. He was scared he wouldn’t be so happy with her response. “But sometimes I wish..,” Anastasia's words trailed off and Damien suddenly helped her complete it by asking, “Your mum was alive?” Anastasia suddenly looked up at him wondering how he had got it right. She had been wondering why he had been asking her questions regarding her necklace though especially after she had told him all these things before now. “How did you know?” Anastasia asked as she looked at him with a curious expression on. “I sometimes wish my parents w
Anastasia's pov I took steady breaths to calm down as I pushed the door open, berating myself. What was I feeling nervous about? This was my duty. I had gone through the worst possible kind of obstacle in my life just so I could get to this point of my life.I may have won over the Lycans, but it wasn’t done easily. Tonight, we would finally consummate our bond, we would finally complete the mating ritual and I would be pregnant with their heir.A part of me was happy, another was undoubtedly nervous, but for the most of it, I knew this was only possible because we were under a threat, and for the fear of not having an heir to succeed after them, the process was quickened. Months ago, when I had arrived here, I would never have thought, nor even imagined in my wildest dreams that I would be in this position now. After the first time I arrived at the mansion, they had wrung up their nose at me in resentment and disappointment. They didn’t accept me at first. Even then, they had seemed
