The Promise

AFTER working at the café, Calyx and Cindy left together, making Zoe alone. She decided to grab some snacks at the nearby convenience store. She was craving potato chips. Although her OB reminded her not to eat too much junk food or carbonated drinks.

She pushed the door as she enters the store and get the snacks she needs and after that, she paid for them on the counter.

She walked slowly as she takes the way toward their apartment. She looked up at the sky and glimpse how the stars winked at her.

She smiled while she sways the plastic of the things she bought and then focus her gaze on the road after a few moments. She took a deep breath to calm her thoughts.
