Having A Good Time

Zoe’s POV

The following day, I was too lazy to get up from my bed, but mom went in to remind me.

I’ve searched the internet about the symptoms of pregnancy since it’s my first time. The whole thing is new to me.

I also don’t know when will I’m going to talk about it to my mother. I’m sure mom will get surprised.

When I stepped out of the room, I frowned and covered my nose immediately when I smelled something in the air. It’s from the kitchen.

My stomach stumbled down, and the bathroom called me. I dashed back to my room.

I puked, but nothing came out.

I closed my eyes and waited for my stomach to settle. I wished mom didn’t hear me. I’m not ready to tell her about it yet.

After a few minutes, I stepped out of the bathroom and fixed my hair.

Soon as I opened the door, I saw mom standing in front of it. I frowned and immediately covered my nose.

I saw how mom’s forehead creased.

“What’s wrong?”

I smiled faintly. “Mom—”

“Why are you covering your nose? Zoe, I just took a bath and—”
