Nick Jackson froze and stared at her with a shocked expression.

"What? Are you stunned that I said you soil my eyes, or flabbergasted that I only returned with you to sever our relationship?" Shamsiya grinned wickedly. She walked forward with the gait of a confident woman to close the gap between them. Even more amazed by this action of hers, the man's pupils noticeably constricted as confusion and bewilderment clouded his face.

Shamsiya paused, then her violet eyes flashed with understanding, and her smug grin loosened into a helpless smile.

Before, she had been really too cowardly. Or more specifically, too careful. Because Nick Jackson was the only person who accepted her, she was afraid to do anything that would make him hate or despise her, and regret his decision.

So the fool she was obeyed his every order, and didn't dare to get close to him until he beckoned her over, like a servant and a dog. She lived in the house she bought with her own money, like an invisible ghost, whil

Shamsiya frowned, and rudely yanked out her hands of the stranger's grasp. Taking back a few steps, she stared him down with a dissatisfied expression. "Excuse me Mr. whoever you are, but I don't believe I know you." She spat, and glared angrily at her scumbag husband. "Is this another one of your buyers? Did you already sell me off before I even returned?""What? No!" Nick was flabbergasted. "Didn't you recognize him? He's Bennet Fecker!" Sell her off? To Bennet Fecker? This man was clearly her high school standby lover. How could he...He stilled, then narrowed his eyes. His wife's eyes were filled with confusion, and she looked at him as if he lost his mind."Bennet Fecker...and I'm supposed to know him...how exactly?"She didn't know him. Truly and absolutely didn't know him.Nick heard a ring in his ears. He fell back a step as his friend's words from last week resurfaced in his mind.'...I never talked to her, never interacted with her or confessed my feelings. Hell! Considering

  • Sold By Her Husband   Part 2: Marking Ceremony?

Due to the decrease in population, there were a lot more women than men in the current period. Pack Alpha's encouraged the male population to reproduce, which meant sowing their seed in any female they felt an attraction to until they marked a chosen mate or their true soulmate entered their lives.Shamsiya, being Nick Jackson's chosen mate, had been begging the Alpha of the Black Fang Pack to hold their marking ceremony for two years without any success. This confused her before, as once a couple signed the marriage certificate, they had a right to a marking ceremony. But after Nick Jackson sold her, she had an inkling of what must have happened. While she had been desperate to bear his mark, the scumbag probably despised her to the point of revulsion, and went behind her back to speak with the alpha. As a hybrid, her status was lower than the lowest omega in the pack. Combined with the fact that she couldn't mark him because of her hybrid bloodline when he marked her, Shamsiya suspe

The pack members instantly pricked their ears. Their heated gazes swiveled between the two women as they sensed drama about to unfold. "I'm not suitable? In the entire Black Fang, there is no witch more powerful and honorable than me. By saying I'm unsuitable, are you aware you're questioning my abilities?" Her words were cold, her eyes even frostier. The displeasure in the witch's voice was unconcealable, causing Sydney to pause. Her gaze inadvertently fell on Nick Jackson, and the hybrid's words rang in her ears.'As you said, Nick sold me and is now a millionaire. Everyone wants to be with him, including the witch of the Black Fang Valley. While I was gone...I suspect they might've been intimate.'That's right. Nick Jackson was now a millionaire. He had already sold Shamsiya. Now that he had wealth, why would he rush into marking the one he sold, if the witch wasn't on his side?So this marking ceremony must be a sham. If she exposed Margrette for who she was...A sneer stretched

For a brief moment, Shamsiya pondered this strange situation in contemplative silence, then carelessly shrugged her shoulders. She didn't care what the two were smoking. Whether they wailed or cackled, it was their business. As for her...she was finally free!"Why...? Shamsiya, I know I didn't treat you well before. But I realized my mistake. I really wanted to treat you better this time!" Staggering to his feet, Nick Jackson clenched his fists and questioned her with an anger glare. "Why didn't you give me a chance?" Shamsiya stared at him as if she was looking at a fool. "Must I forgive you, just because you realized your mistake? You might not know this, but to survive and maintain my chastity, I stabbed myself and killed living, breathing people like weeds on the roadside. Forgive you?" She turned and strode off the platform. In the shadow of her receding back, her gloomy chuckle reverberated in the silent atmosphere, leaving her frosty words to echo in the ears of the gathered c

"Kicking me out?" The man was stunned. He narrowed his eyes and looked at the woman in front of him with incomprehension, as if she was speaking an alien language. Then releasing a long sigh, he helplessly shook his head, "You must be out of your mind. You can't kick me out of my house!""Heh. Actually, I can." Shamsiya chuckled and moved closer to the door. She didn't want to give the scumbag a chance to take half a foot inside. "In accordance with the terms on the Divorce Documents, I have sole ownership of every property you bought with my money. This house may be in your name, but don't forget you bought it with the money I saved to get a degree. If you have a problem accepting it, you're free to knock on the Alpha's door."Nick staggered back in shock, a memory he had vehemently buried in the recess of his mind coming to the surface at this moment. After graduating high school, his adopted parents made it clear they wouldn't be housing him anymore. He had no place to sleep, and w

Iblis shook his head. "No, you either pay me back right now, or go back with me." He didn't want money. He had enough to last him ten generations. What he wanted...was her."I don't have any money right now. Give me a month, and I promise I'll return the full amount. If you force me...well, you already know I'm a woman who isn't afraid of death." She stared at him with a cold expression that sent a chill down his spine.Recalling the time she stabbed herself, Iblis froze, then cursed under his breath. Everything about this woman was attractive. Her violet-silver eyes, her wavy ink-black mane, and her luring body that boiled his blood. Everything, except for her fearless personality.Though it was just as appealing when he first met her, Iblis wished she didn't have the courageous trait at this moment."One week. That's all I'm giving you. If you fail to return the three-hundred dollars in one week, you'll willingly return to the Demon Kingdom with me. Deal?" He asked, watching her fac

At the sound of the door closing, Shamsiya weakly sagged to the floor. What three hundred thousand? The bastard had enough money to buy a country. What he wanted wasn't the measly sum. He was after something else, but what? Her lips tingled, and the memory of their earlier kiss returned to her in a shuddering wave. Shamsiya buried her face between her knees. Her heart frantically pounded in her ears. He kissed her.Though aggressive and rough, the fucking demon of the scary stories actually kissed her. What was he thinking? Did he do it because he thought she slept with Nick Jackson, and hence, didn't deserve him lowering his head and asking for her permission? Was he scornful, angry or...did he...have feelings for her?As suddenly as this thought appeared in her mind, her lips quirked up in a mocking sneer. He had already made it crystal clear. She was still his property. How could any decent male develop feelings for a female they deemed lower than a servant-especially when the fem

Sneak Preview Chapter 1-Fall of the Demon Whip! Whip! Whip! "Haha! You didn't expect this, did you? Iblis Jabril, the fearsome demon of the Supernatural World, is reduced to a state worse than a dog!" Queen Nymrit tightened her grip on the Flame Whip and laughed manically as she whipped the chained man over and over again. The Vampire King, Werewolf King, and Fae King watched the spectacle from iron thrones a few feet away. They stared in ridicule at the man who once haunted their dreams, bound and bloody, helpless before a mere woman. "Scream, you bastard! Cry for mercy!" The former Demon Queen roared venomously and spat on his face. The Flame Whip that landed on his flesh shed blood and torched shredded skin, blowing grit into his gruesome wounds. Pus oozed from the stab in his back, the jutting black dagger gleaming like an executioner's cross against his fair skin. But under her almost crazed lashing, the man's features remained numb, with no expression on his face at all.

The muffled coo came in on a draft of wind. Nymrit snapped out of her vigil and strode to her dresser. Heaving the metal furniture to the side, she opened the secret passage. An armored troop of men and women exuding blood and murderous aura emerged from within and spread out in the room. "You're the Demon Queen?" The leader of the troop asked with a strange gleam in his eyes. "Not anymore. You can call me Nymrit." Nymrit Sein Rider gave the armored group a wary grin and gestured to the door. "The one you're sent to kill is in the East Palace. You can leave to search for her, while I perform my part." "I heard you're out for the Demon Lord. However way I look at it, a woman out for her husband's blood isn't trustworthy. And when she's one of the supernatural creatures..." "I don't need your trust. Just fulfill the task you're commissioned for." Ignoring the menacing expression on the group's face, Nymrit took a jewel encrusted box from her bedside drawer, and strode out of her ch

***Mature Content*** Shamsiya's heart warmed at the sound of her husband's laughter. By now, she had been with him long enough to know how rare his smiles were, and rarer still, his laughter. Lowering her head, she gently said, "Husband, put me down. My head is spinning!" Iblis immediately sat her down. "Sorry, Siya. I got too excited." He admitted with a hint of embarrassment. As the demon of the Mediterranean-Euro Region, his heart had long turned cold for him to lose control like now. At times, he wouldn't even feel anything for months. With the passage of time, he began to believe he had a stone for a heart. But all this changed the moment he saw his Siya. Heart swelling with warmth and affection, Iblis led his wife to the bed and sat her on his thigh. "Siya, look." He said, showing her the vial he held in his hand. "Do you remember this vase?" Shamsiya glanced at his hand, and her face softened when she saw the vial. "Isn't this the vase the Holy Man gave you on our weddi

***Mature Content*** The next morning, Shamsiya woke with dark circles beneath her eyes. The demon tormented her the entire night until she fell asleep from exhaustion. He didn't take her the way a husband took his wife. But his fingers and tongue...just thinking about how they pleasured her depths made her blush and her body heat up in lust. Wrapped around her like a cola bear, the man sleeping on her chest stirred with a groan. One of his hands instinctively moved downward to palm one of her cheeks, as he greedily rubbed his face on her mounds and took a nipple into his mouth. "Ah!" Shamsiya threw back her head and moaned. The deep ache in her core returned. Her hands found their way into his dark mane, and she gripped the silky strands to pull him closer, to urge him to suck harder. "Having fun?" Now fully awake, Iblis squeezed her round behind, then moved his hand to her front to caress her silk folds. Parting her thighs, his fingers rubbed her delicate petals and tugged on the

Now that she was no longer the one taking the initiative, her shyness returned. Iblis chuckled. "After boldly stripping yourself, then removing my clothes, you still have the cheek to blush?" He kneaded her breast until her nipple turned into a hard pebble between his fingers. "No...I..." Her voice cracked. She had difficulty forming a coherent sentence. The electrifying tingles shooting through her body made her feel weak and powerless. Chuckling sardonically, the demon grabbed her thigh and wrapped it around his waist. In this position, the thick length of his member became more distinct in her muddled mind as it poked her cave. Shamsiya arched her back. Her open invitation and complete submission to his ministrations, brought a tender smile on the demon's lips. He leaned over and captured her lips in a searing kiss, before resting his forehead agains

Once back in her chambers, Nymrit dismissed the servants and began to bandage her wound. With proper treatment, there was a chance for the limb to regrow. However, every second the wound throbbed, it stoked the flame of hatred brewing in her heart. "Nymrit, are you out of your mind? Even after the Demon Lord publicly humiliated you, do you still want to stay here? Have you no self-respect?" King Sein spat disgustedly, contempt and disappointment marring his features as he growled at his daughter. The man made it clear he didn't want her. But she was still stubbornly hung up on him. How could he give birth to such a disgraceful bitch? Truly, just as the Demon Lord said, she was a shameless whore! King Sein was so angry and revolted by his daughter's decision to marry a lowly servant of the Demon Lord that he overlooked the blazing resentment in her eyes. After raving and ranting for a few minutes, the Werewolf King failed to get a reaction from his daughter. It seemed this pawn had

Iblis contemplated his friend's words. Between his wife Siya, and the bitch in the West Palace, he would, of course, choose his Siya. But if he did that...he would have to return the Hundred Pearls of Light. Those pearls were the only clue he had to his identity and his roots. If he gave them up, he would probably never find out where he came from, or in this case, how he came about. His very existence would remain shrouded in mystery, and as a being that lived for thousands of years, he didn't even know where to begin to trace his ancestry. So the pearls that showed him glimpses of himself with a blurred female were the only link to his missing past. But when he thought of his Siya, his past no longer felt important. He wanted to live in the present and build a future with her. However, without knowing his origins, could he build a future? A groan slipped his lips, as he closed his eyes in frustration. The silence in the region engulfed his senses as images flashed through his mi

She couldn't accept it. The thought of being nothing more than a plaything to the man she loved devastated her more than Queen Nymrit's words. As she wept, she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror. Something within her churned at the sight of her clothes and made-up face. Just as the Demon Queen said, she looked like a whore. Revulsion boiled in her veins. Shamsiya ran into the bathroom and turned on the tap. She stood under the shower without waiting for the temperature to adjust. Furiously scrubbing herself in self-loath, she endured the cold rivulets of water as violent tremors rocked through her body. "Husband...how could I consider him my husband? I'm his second wife...nothing more than a mistress..." A plaything to pass time and amuse oneself. As a self-proclaimed, self-respecting woman, how could she be so shameless as to become someone's whore? As a woman, how could she lust after another woman's husband? Death before dishonor? Heh! Once, she had proudly faced deat

"What does it mean when a woman says she wants to own you?" Seated in his study, Iblis stuffed a bite size cake in his mouth as he glanced at his friend. Choking on his tea, Jonis set down his cup and gawked. "Own you? There is actually a woman who wants to own you?" "Why? Is there a problem?" Iblis questioned with a frown. "No, no, it's just..." "Just what?" "I never expected there would be a woman brave enough to love you." Jonis sighed and shook his head. He admired the woman who had the courage to love this man. "Love? Are you saying...she loves me?" Iblis sat up, flabbergasted. Siya and love, that too, him? How could that bold, fearless, and reckless woman...actually love him? He found this harder to accept than the thought of her being his loved one. "Well, when a woman says she wants to own you, it usually means she's possessive of you. That's an emotion only those who feel something for you would express." Iblis rose out of his seat and paced the study. Siya loved him.
