As soon as I walked into the class, I saw Anya and her friend. Derrick was leaning close to her, talking to her about God knows what.

I had taken the same classes as Anya because I wanted to be close to her.

Seeing Derrick so close to her made me almost blind with anger. I hated that he was so close to her but I consoled myself with the fact that she'd never fall for him.

Suddenly, Lydia's eyes met mine. She tapped on Anya's arm in excitement. Anya turned to look at me. Her mouth dropped open as she stared at me in shock.

I smiled and walked over to her.

"What....what are you doing here?" She asked me.

"Because I am now a student of this school, of course!" I said to her and smiled as big as possible.
