3. She Would Go With Me

Andrei's Pov

“Alpha, Cole’s son, was seen climbing out of her window. We suspect she’s awake, and they are just dragging matters.” Kian said with a bow.

“Keep an eye on her,” I instruct before going back to the document I was reading. It seems like the witches were starting to get relentless recently. They would need another attack to remind them that I’m not afraid of spells spewing venoms.

Annoyance grows in me as my mind goes to the weak mate the moon goddess had given me. Not only did she just get her wolf after eighteen, she had even passed out after her first transformation.

Even the weakest wolves in my clan didn’t pass out during their first transformation. I wonder if this is perhaps some repercussion for all the lives I have taken.

“Rather, let’s go. We leave now.” I say, standing up suddenly as I wonder why I was giving them time to make a decision. If they wanted to hold her back, I could as well kill them all and take her. No matter what, she was still my fated mate and rejecting her would have a counter-effect on both of us.

History had it that fated mates were a blessing from the moon goddess, and only people that the moon goddess felt deserved that blessing were granted one. At this moment, I had a feeling that records finally had something they were wrong about.

This mate of mine was nothing but a disaster. A weakening disaster

And this wasn’t a time that I could let myself be weak.

“Okay, Alpha. I’ll gather the men now,” Kain said as he left hurriedly.

I rub my temple slightly as I feel a slight headache, one that I have grown familiar with in recent times. No doubt a combination of the news about the witches attacking and now, this damn mate who sprang out of nowhere on me.

Despite her being about four blocks away from me, I could feel her, feel the pull of fate and the bond pulling me to her. The moment she woke up, I knew.

Even before Kian had come in.

I should reject her.

Other than a very pretty face, there was nothing more. For me, I needed a strong Luna. One that could keep the pack while I was away battling, especially in the trying times we were in. There was no way, no way at all, that I would let her, such a weak woman, become my Luna.

Yet, my blood pulsed harshly in my veins, and my wolf ached for her every second. I could feel the desperate need to be close to her even while I was this angry at her.

I can hear their argument as I move closer. In a matter like this, they were only trying to save more time. After all, there was only one ending.

“There are just two options which, of course, have the same end results for me, but as to whether your clan survives or not, that’s entirely dependent on you.” I pause as I send a glance her way.

Even now, reeking of fear and anxiety, she looked like a seductress from hell. Certainly had to be sent from Hades, who wasn’t happy with how I was purging the earth of the evils he sent in.

She shivers slightly as her eyes meet mine. She evades her gaze immediately and wraps her arms around herself.

Her simple action pushes her luscious and ample bosom upwards, and for a split moment, I imagine what it would feel like in my arms with no clothes covering it. I allowed my mind to wonder how heavy they would feel as I enclosed them in my palm and then took them in my mouth.

Those very thoughts send a quick reaction to my cock and Daiz, my wolf that is restless and anxious to claim her as his.

“But as for her, she would go with me,” I added as I sent a warning glance at her father. I didn’t take being defied easy.

After giving her permission to do some light packing, I left the house to get my men ready. There was nothing more to do here, no need to burn time on something this trivial.
