Chapter Sixty-Five

My eyes opened and I found myself in the midst of different people that looked like humans but they were dressed ruggedly like thieves.

I didn't know what was happening yet but I knew I was in a small room. I could hear their noise but shut my eyes and still pretended to be asleep.

"What are we going to do about her?" I heard a girl ask loudly. Through her tone, she sounded pissed off that I was in the room with them and couldn't wait for me to leave. It was so obvious that I felt kinda sad.

The guy laughed and everyone began laughing. "Why do I think you're jealous she's going to steal you away from Alex?" He asked her and everywhere became quiet.
