The lounge room was as silent as a graveyard as they both engaged in a staring competition.
"In your dream." He repeated like he was tasting the words on his lips, he rested his back on the sofa and tilted his brow to a side as he stared intensively at the tiny girl that was trying to be bold in his front or maybe she was really bold.
She placed her hands on her waist and made her legs wide, trying to make her stance wide and strong.
His eyes run a quick search from her head to her toe, he does have his type and she exactly it. He was going to fuck her until he begged him not to stop and she would cry on his chest for him to fuck her. He doesn't do forcing, he simply waited for them to crawl into his trap and that was it.
Her hands held her tiny waist firmly, the waist he still manage to wonder how it carried her big butts and hips.
"You can never have me." He heard her vow and he raised his eyes from her waist to her hazel eyes that glister with braveness but behind the boldness was a fragile lady cowering in fear.
"Your name?" He asked again.
"I thought you did your research to top notch."
He raised his brow as his eyes glowed in a slight fury. She swallowed her lump and move back.
"Jasira." She answered lowly. His hardened gaze has not lowered from her body, shivers run through her spine and she moved a bit back from him, how badly she wished she knew what is going on in that devilish head of his, she heaved a heavy breath avoiding his gaze as possible.
"Jasira," He repeated her name.
"Are you trying to be bold like your name inspires or you are bold?"
Jasira couldn't comprehend what he meant at first so she only stared at him before it clicked, she was exchanging words with the devil, the man whose name was hidden from everyone.
The man who can burn down a house when furious, she was playing with the fire itself.
"I'm just me." She answered anyway.
'I'm just me.' He thought. He loved the answer, she is not only bold, but she is also smart.
His phone beeped by his side and his eyes shone slightly when he saw the message. He turned to Jasira.
"Leave." He dismissed coldly.
She stared at him with her eyes popped out, it was as if her ears are malfunctioning like she didn't just hear the one word he said out of his mouth.
"Just like that?"
His head snapped towards her and she shrink at the fast movement.
"Don't you want to leave?"
"No." She half yelled shaking her head.
"Then leave."
Jasira blinked her eyes to be sure she was not dreaming, she thought she was the devil. The man who never spares his victim, no one had denied him something that he freaking spared, and just like that he is letting her go.
What if she was leaving and he fired a bullet into her damn skull,
"Did you have a gun with you?"
Alejandro tilted his brow aside at her question, he looked at her and saw her brow tighten and her fist shook slightly in fear. It feels like she just called the most hated thing in her life. Her hazel eyes were changing their radiation gradually.
"Gun?" He asked.
He watched as she shook slightly and snapped her eyes closed before she snapped them open.
"Never mind." She said rapidly then walked hastily out of his presence.
She took a short look at the huge man before dashing out.
She ran through the hallway and jerked the front door knob.
She ran. escaping all the pictures painted in her head, the deadly scene keeps replaying. Blood, wasted bullets, a pistol, dead bodies.
She ran despite the gazes people were giving to her as she speed past them, she keep running as much as her legs never failed her.
It had been years since she mentioned the black metal name, she thought she had gone beyond the panic mode.
She didn't how long she had run until a car started to follow her, she glanced at the car over her shoulder without stopping.
Police. She thought as she slowed down, she slumped to the ground immediately she stopped running.
Her breathing came out extremely low while her chest heave up and down, darkness threatened to cover her but she refused to submit to it. She strained her eyes especially when the cops surround her.
"Miss, are you okay?" Their voice sounds far away in her head, she blinked her eyes while closing them slowly.
"Carry her." The words were so faint but she took all her strength to snap her eyes open.
She shook her head and they stopped.
She shaped her hand into a cylinder shape and brought it to her mouth.
"Water?" She blinked her eyes before she shut them closed once again.
The deadly sight appeared in her vision again, the clotted blood, thirteen years old her walked through the sticky blood with tears rolling down her cheeks...
"Open up." She heard as they lifted her to a sitting position.
The bottle was pushed to her mouth and she gulped the strange liquid down her throat, it taste strange and she was right when a cop told her it was glucose-filled water.
******
The cops dropped her at her house, she watched as they drove away after she had thanked them.
A lot of worse things would have happened to her if the cops didn't save her earlier. she dusted out the sand from her clothes as she climbed the staircase to her house gently, punched the code, and slide in quietly trying not to make any sounds.
The lounge room was empty and she was grateful for that. She walked briskly to her room, changed her clothes, and walked back to her mom's room before the nanny suspected she was back.
She was wearing a black off-shoulder knee-length gown with white stripes towards the end before and now she was wearing the same thing without stripes, she just hope her mother won't be able to differentiate them.
_______
She woke up extremely late than she imagined, she was half an hour late for her resuming time and she was not even dressed at all. She didn't know when she fell asleep earlier and now, she was late again.
Her phone beeped from her side and she grabbed it lazily before checking bit.
Don't come to work today.
Barbie.
The text read and her heart thudded loudly in her chest. The devil Is looking for her again. She should listen to her but what was the use when they knew her house?
She sighed heavily before she stood up to get dress.
"How the fuck did you let him escape?" Alejandro thundered banging into the room the man was kept. The only guy they had from the Roberto's gang escape. Roberto's gang was their biggest rival; they went hidden but always came out when he had an operation and disrupted him. Took the credit and went back into their hidden place again. He caught one of them yesterday at the club and specially kept him in his manor and he still fucking escaped. "One of the boys monitoring his door killed the other guards and escape with him." He snapped at Maxwell, "Are you okay?" He thundered furiously. "Why can't you go after him immediately?" He yelled, his hands shook with fury and he marched to Maxwell. He got to him and stared down at him, his very bright blue eyes flickered between ash and black now. "Speak." He muttered between his gritted teeth. "They escape before we notice__ "Fuck you." He cursed driving a pen knife into his arm before he completed his sentence.
"He sent for you?" "For what?" Maxwell growled irritatedly before his face went rigid again. "Follow me if you love yourself." His voice was icy as he stared at her with his murderous gaze. Jasira swallowed her gulp, regret flickered on her face. She should have been gentle with her words after knowing he was the devil. She shouldn't have been adamant, she should have crawled at his feet and accepted his offer, her gaze moved to his side once again, and relieve rush through her body when his gaze was not on her releasing a sharp breathe she followed the man whose name she didn't know. Every step she took towards Alejandro drained all her energy, and the little courage she had disappeared upon standing before him, her gaze was on the floor, Maxwell sat beside Alejandro again. "Jasira," Her breath hitched for seconds when her name left his mouth, it sound like terror that sent shivers through her body. Maybe this was her only chance to correct every m
Jasira waited patiently for his next words, each second he delayed in completing his words gave her goosebumps, making her heart thunder continuously in her ribcage. "Your body or your..." He trailed off again and Jasira knew he enjoyed seeing her being miserable, he enjoyed seeing her shivering under his gaze. "Your ailment mother." He let out leaving her neck and rose to his feet. He stared down at the stiff lady on the floor, blood had drained out of her face as she stared into the space. Jasira was in a state of shock. Her heart was beating wildly in her chest and she fought to breathe, to believe what she just heard from the man called the devil. It felt like a bluff to her but she knew he was never like that, he was not the man to bluff over his words, he was threatening her with the only weakness she have. She found herself standing up even when all she wanted to do was to sit there and became crippled so he would hate her. She staggered on her feet and almo
Jasira watched as Alejandro and Maxwell walked out of the club. His blue eyes were fixated on her and she bet he was smirking under that black mask. "He scares me," Barbie whispered beside Jasira as she shifted her gaze from the devil. "He gave me goosebumps and made me shiver," Jasira muttered back to her and let out a relieving sigh when they left. Barbie breathed out all the breath she didn't know she held in all while glancing at Jasira whose eyes were still fixed on the door. She grabbed her arm before she dragged her to the changing room seeing that the coast was clear, she turned to her. "What did he say to you?" Jasira exhaled and fisted her ginger hair in her palm, her heart shrinking thinking about the condition between both of them. "He wanted me to be his sex slave." She answered barely above a whisper, she avoided making eye contact with Barbie and played with the hem of her clothes. Shame eating deep into her gut. "Are you serious?" Barbie
The black Mercedes drove past the white fountain and drove further before it was packed in front of the white manor. Jasira's heart was pounding really hard as she got down from the car. This might be the second time she was here but she was more nervous than anything. Sweat tickled through her back when she saw the figure standing at the threshold, she halted on her steps and breathe heavily. The devil was waiting patiently for her with his hand tucked in the jean pant he wore. Making sure she avoided making eye contact with him, she checked his dress out, first time she was not seeing him in a three-piece suit and all formal wear. A simple black turtle neck and a jean, his feet were covered in simple slippers, even though the dress was meant to be casual and less fearful. He made the dress look so dangerous. The smirk that lingered on his face became more visible when she got close to him. She swallowed her lump, her heart was thudding loudly in her chest and s
A low scream escape from her when the light popped on. She blinked her eyes continuously to be sure she was not blinded by the sudden sharp light. Alejandro was in her room sitting languidly on her bed with his right leg over his left. It was intimidating, exuding greatness. His blue eyes shoot to her across the room, she traced his gaze and it landed on her boobs. A low gasp left her mouth, she wanted to cover her boobs but she couldn't because his gaze suddenly heated her, letting adrenaline rush through her. She swallowed her gulp when he refused to remove his gaze, her nipples are starting to hurt, they are straining against the thin cotton towel she had on. "What are you doing here?" The question had left her mouth before she realized how stupid she sound. This was his fucking house, how could she ask him that? She saw that there was a twitch on his eyebrow, a twitch he decide not to hide, he wanted her to see how ridiculous her question sound to him. Alejandro s
A sleepy groan slipped out Jasira's mouth as she pulled the comforter up her head, she made a mental note to close the window blind the next time. Oh! there won't be a next time. She sprangled up from the bed immediately at the thought, today was her second day here and it had felt like centuries already. She pushed the comforter away only to notice she was still in her towel, every part of her body heat up as the memory flooded her head. They took up space in her head showing her all the embarrassing she did yesterday. She begged! She freaking begged for his touch, for his sinful hand to dominate all of her body. This was dangerous, she was supposed to hate him, everything about him especially his hands. This freaking manor was dangerous, everything about the high white manor was destructive for her tiny self. She scurried down the bed and walked lazily towards the ensuite that was bigger than the one at her formal house, it was bigger and finer but it doesn't
"Going somewhere." The chill voice resounded through her head. She knew the voice too well but she still prayed it was not the one she knew as she slowly took a right turn and her jaw dropped and her eyes bulged out. She could easily mark out the face in the darkness, he was visible to her like in the broad day. "Huh?" He asked pulling away from the wall he lounged on, he knew it! He knew she would try to escape that was why he kept a mini camera and tracker on the hairband he wore for her in the morning His instinct was never wrong, one of the multiple skills he had that got him to where he was today. "Seems like you failed to plan very well." He smirked going towards her in heavy steps, he wasn't shocked when she started moving back at his every step toward her. "Or you can never plan well because I'm smarter than you." "And I own you!" He added darkly. Jasira was too stunned to speak, she only want to get out of his sight, and run away from his life.
Alejandro stood before the full-length mirror staring at his reflection, he adjusted his watch and smiled in satisfaction at his look. He caught a glimpse of Jasira looking at him, and every time their eyes met she removed her gaze, that was the third it had happened. He smiled turning to her. "Say what's in your mind baby girl, I can feel your eyes eating me up." He winked crossing his hands over his chest. "I don't bite." Jasira scoffed with a small laugh, "I'm not looking at you, my eyes are not eating you up." She denied closing the closet. "Moreover, I was only wondering why some parts of your hair are not combed properly, your tie is also undone." She added, proud of herself to have found something to say. Alejandro chuckled, he saw through her lies but left it. "Will you help me with them?" He asked picking a comb from the vanity, and she was already standing before him eagerly. "Here." He passed the comb to her, and she smiled brightly. "You know I'm always jeal
Jasira woke up with the morning sun shining on her face, she groaned with her eyes closed, and she turned away from the sun to continue sleeping. 'I'm on vacation.' The thought crossed her mind and she yanked up immediately. She looked around the room for Alejandro and sank when he was nowhere to be found. He was one of the reasons she was so excited about waking up early. "Where did he go this early morning?" She asked no one as she picked up her phone from the nightstand. "10:00 am." She yelled flying to her feet. "That was unbelievable." She walked to the half-wall window, she placed her hands on the as she looked at the bright sun. She had thought it was just eight in the morning, but the bright sun in the sky told her otherwise. This was one of the best sleep she had had since she was discharged from the hospital, she had no nightmares, and there were no drumming sounds in her ears today. She stared at the orchards that surrounded the house, they were so tall and fruity

Alejandro carried sleeping Jasira in his arms as he got out of the car, she fell asleep in the car on their way. The guard walked faster than him to open the door for him. "Boss," He acknowledged and Alejandro nodded his head to him. The sweet rose smell welcomed him as he closed his eyes briefly. The walls of the living room were painted peach with black stripes, a color he chose because of Jasira. He was a fan of brighter colors but he'd do anything for her. Three gold chandeliers hung in the middle of the room. There are two white three-seater sofas and a glass coffee table in the middle. A big TV was on the wall, with bookshelves beside it. It was simple, just the way he ordered. The maids did a good job with the cleaning, and he was amazed at that. He gave them a short time because they needed to leave before they arrived. Three guards who helped with their luggage climbed down the stairs and stood before him. "We will be on our way, boss." The black-haired among them spo
____Two weeks later____Jasira had been discharged from the hospital a week and three days ago, and the scars on her chin were already fading thanks to the ointment Alejandro got for her. "I can't believe I'm going to the Bahamas," Jasira giggled as she linked her hand with Alejandro's. They had just gotten out of his SUV at his private airport, and they were ready to board his private jet. "And this is my first time flying a private jet also.""Really?" Alejandro patted her hair, and she giggled like a baby, an act she did whenever he patted her hair now, he wasn't equally surprised about hearing that but he just wanted to keep talking to her. "Yes, and I'm so excited." She nodded laughing and skipped forward, she wasn't shy to be happy before Alejandro again. He was gentle to her, and the coldness around him with her wasn't there anymore. All she could see when looking at him was softness and love, though the love part still scared her but other than that, she was happy with him.
Alejandro punched the driver seat headrest angrily, Maxwell was driving too slow for him, he used to be faster than this."Drive faster for fuck sake, are you a snail?" He yelled at him adjusting Jasira in his arms. He would have driven if he wasn't carrying an almost lifeless Jasira."I'm sorry boss, it's going to be okay." He increased the acceleration to a higher one, and the car flew through the highway skipping through all traffic lights, Alejandro wanted that but he was still not satisfied."Go as fast as you can, nothing must happen to Jasira, not when I'm yet to tell her how I feel." He didn't mind if Maxwell knew about his feelings for Jasira, he would scream to the world if that would wake her up. "Don't die on me Jasira," He tapped her cheeks softly and his heart broke feeling how cold her skin was. He shouldn't have left her side, maybe he would have noticed any stranges within her. He wrapped his trembling hand around her on his lap while chewing his lips, he couldn't lo
"We are done clearing the compound, it was a grenade theat exploded, they also messed up with CCTV cameras before throwing it in, and we were not able to get anything from them. There was no death except mini injuries from five guards." Alejandro gave a single nod to all that Maxwell listed. "Have they all been treated?" His cold voice did not correlate with his soft gaze. "Yes." "You can go for now." He ordered and Maxwell nodded before leaving the room. Alejandro's uptight shoulders fell as he heard the door closing. His eyes were teary as he stared at Jasira on the bed. Her head was wrapped in a bandage, a cut marred her right cheek and there was another scar on her chin, it was long enough to run along her chin to both sides of her underchin. He grabbed her hand in his, he was amazed at how small it was compared to his. "I promise to catch those bastards who harm you." His cold voice vibrated through the room. Maxwell was right, Fabiano's men knew Jasira was his weakness, and
Jasira arrived at her mother's__her house anxiously, coming here made her realize how much she had missed her mini house. She might have been living in a house bigger than this for months but still, she missed her house. She took a sharp breath before knocking twice on the door, she waited for her answer tapping her feet on the ground, she hadn't given it much thought that she was going to know the truth today. Everything that had been in darkness for years, she swallowed, that scared her. 'Was she ready?' She pondered. She had always wanted to know the truth but right now, she wasn't sure, she just wanted to turn back..."Jasira!" Her mother screeched throwing her arms over her, pulling her into a tight hug. Jasira was taken aback by that, she had thought her mother would be angry at her since they were fighting__hadn't spoken to each other for months."Mommy," She said, her voice soft and low as she wrapped her hands around her. They maintained the position for some minutes before p
"Did you notice that the guards on duty are double of what used to be there before?" Ava said scrubbing the white ties."Hmm." Jessica hummed scrolling through her phone while snacking on a chocolate bar.Ava glanced at her hearing her response, she shook her head and scoffed. "Seriously?" She snapped. "Will you listen to me!"Jasira dropped her phone with a laugh on the island where she was sitting "Okay ma'am," She raised her hands in surrender. "What are you saying?""The guards on duty are doubled or you didn't notice?" She rubbed her chin thinking before shaking her head. "I didn't notice, what's wrong with it?"Ava sighed dropping the mop into its bucket, "I don't know, it is so strange and did I mention it scared the shit out of me seeing men with bulky arms and broad chests."Jasira burst into a loud laugh. "I thought you loved them, why did they scare you?"Ava frowned at her pouting her lips. "Stop it, I'm not joking.""Come on, I'm sorry__" She was cut off by the beeping s
