"Who's that on the phone?" I flinched as the deep voice sounded through the quiet room.

"Who is that, Skylar?" I heard Dimitri ask, but I ignored his question, dropping the telephone back on its stand.

Slowly, I turned to see who it was. I still had the fear in me even though it was Beta Mark standing before me. He was the alpha's Beta, so I had every right to feel scared.
