38~ A Moment to Remember

SKYLAR'S P.O.V

He stopped at the junction not quite far from the alpha's headquarters. He was even ready to drop me off at the gate but I told him not to, I don't want to get into more trouble.

"I uhm… I want to apologize for earlier."

"It's nothing." I said almost immediately. "I mean, I don't see anything wrong with that. And – I did love it too."

I watched as a smile played on his face. He touched me, folding his palms into mine. "One of these days I'll come for you, and I don't mind the processes involved, I'll definitely come."

As much as I want to get hope with his words, the fact that I was carrying the Alpha's child seems to twist the entire story.
