I teleport back to Vladania and find myself sitting on the same seat.
“ VIOLET. ” Kane gasps and hurries towards me.
I inhale deeply and look at everyone in the room. They all seem to be engaged in a heated argument but just as they see me, they stop talking.
“ Where did you go? ” Wolf, who was standing on the other side of the table near Luther, rounds the table and approaches me.
“ We were worried sick. How can you just disappear like this? ” Viktor hisses, making me look at him.
I gulp, not saying anything. I am still in shock.
Wolf places his hands over my shoulder, sparks beginning to claim my body and making me relax.
“ We need to talk. ” I tell Wolf while looking at Viktor.
If all these people get to know about what’s happening back there at the pack Wolf controls, they might back off thinking we are weak and can’t be trusted.
