Chapter 30

Brian's POV:

Since returning home, there hasn't been a moment in my mind that didn't come to mind at the border. Seeing my troops lying around like that made my heart very uncomfortable. I knew the battle couldn't be avoided, but I didn't expect the Red Forest to act so cruelly.

An entire river is dyed red!

I closed my eyes, leaned back on the sofa, and sighed. The clock on the wall rattled, and I looked up and saw that it had been over two hours since Kelsey had come out. Judging by the time, she should have returned by now.

The phone sitting in the drawer for a long time suddenly rang.

I lazily glanced at it; it was none other than Harvey. At first, I didn't want to hear it, but somehow I felt a little insecure, accidentally pressing the button to receive a call at any time.

"What?" I asked without head or tail.
