Hannah sits across from me with a sad face and keeps sighing.

"I don't want to be sold to the Starlight pack." The corners of her mouth drooped and her eyebrows furrowed.

Though we knew our sad fate when we entered the castle, no one wants to accept a future that doesn't see the light of day.

She's my friend and one of the people I trust the most, and it worries me to see her in such a predicament.

I gently held her hand and tried to offer some comfort. "Something bad hasn't happened yet, it might turn around."

"I don't know what to do." Tears glistened in her eyes.

She used to comfort me before when I was sad and upset. Now that she's in trouble, I comfort and help her too.

"When Garyson gets back, I'll ask him if there's anything he can do to help you." I said.

She looked up instantly with hope in her eyes. She gripped my hand tightly, "Really? Is he really willing to help me?"
