"Go get something done right now. Have Winnie leave Temperley Hall. She's not to step foot in it ever again," he ordered.

The housekeeper asked curiously, "Mr. Wood, are you kicking her out?"

Gale was back. There was no longer any need for Winnie's face to soothe his heart.

So, there was no longer any reason for Winnie to exist!
