Unrealized Touches

Scarlett's POV:

His hair dripped of water which ran down to his face. The extent of his eyes on mine was so intense that I had to look away but still, from the corner of my eyes, I still saw his gaze fixed on me.

I tried to keep my glance away but I just couldn't, I couldn't avoid his angelic face that the rain touched. While we stared at each other, I noticed a white car driving in and simultaneously, Zelda walked up to me, nudging me by the arm.

" He's here already, let's go,"

When I didn't reply, she nudged me again. I broke my gaze away from the boss and fixed them on Zelda.

" Let's go then,"

I was sure my fertility of vulnerability was nothing to hide about, surprised that Zelda hadn't noticed the boss which I was glad about.

We got into the car which in the process wet ourselves and not long after the driver took off.

Taking one last glance at the boss, I saw the look of displeasure in his eyes as he remained his glare on the moving vehicle.

Admittedly, I felt bad for leaving him
