Scarlett's POV:

" Surprised!"

He winked at me. Who did? The new manager, Jones Hadwin. Yes! The Jones I knew. I was still standing shocked outside the bus with my mouth hanging down in amazement. How did he...? When did he... Why on the earth do we have to always see?

" I told you I'd blow your mind,"

He widely grinned, his dimple which surprisingly became cutely annoying deepened at his cheek.

" This is your surprise?" I exclaimed.

" You don't like it? Don't worry, I got more surprises coming up just for you,"

I remained mute, my eyes scanning the bus for the three idiots who said they'd wait for me till I returned but turned out they decided to do the exact opposite. The bus was becoming piled up and I still didn't know where to find Sonia, Zelda and Mike, great!.

" Where are they?"

I questioned him even though I knew he didn't have an answer.

" Who?"

He arched his brows as he took his eyes off me and darted them behind me.

" Them?"

I swirled around to find them heading towards our direction and happily chatting with one another. Jones slightly nudged me and got into the bus before they could get to us. After much complaints from me and apologies from them, we climbed into the bus and settled down together, Jones being quite far from us with his whole attention focused on his phone. I had received a few text messages from him but decided against replying to him. Pathetically speaking, Sonia wouldn't stop blatantly speaking about Jones, something which gave me slight irritation. Zelda and Mike however bugged me to tell them what went on between the boss and I. Of course, I told them nothing, I groaned in frustration and annoyance indicating how disturbed I was by them. They finally let me be and the ride to the resort was a long and body aching one.

After hours of driving, we made it to the resort. Driving into the main gate that led to the other complex building of the resort, we all embarked from the bus. My legs were stiff, producing cracking noise while I stretched them over.

The gloomy sun shone above, a warm breeze blowing through. The flower yards rhythmically danced at the positions the breeze would take them while the gardeners watered them. The waterfall amusingly sparkled with the reflection of the sun. The sandy floors was so smooth beneath my shoes. The distant lush greenery trees swaying away. The massive building, with large windows, coloured in all white and pure gold had the inscription Glamorous Oasis, written in golden shiny diamond stones.

We received pleasantries from the people around us as we made it into the building, using the lift to get to the floor where we were supposed to be on while the other staff decided to use the elevator. Reaching to the floor, we were greeted with some workers from the resort, Mike went towards the receptionist to get the cards to our room.

I stared in awe at the decor of such an existing place even though it was my second time being here.

After Mike had collected our cards, a lady, Roxie, walked over to us and led us to our accommodated rooms. Initially, the three of us, Sonia, Zelda and I agreed to stay together in one room while the others were taken to theirs.

Zelda installed the card into the door and within a second we were able to go into the room, the usual yet annoying cold atmosphere getting on my nerves for the thousandth time today.

The room was quite spacious, although not too large, clothes already arranged in the wardrobe as if they knew that three girls would be staying in here together. I loved the fluorescent smell of the room, the smooth painted walls with brownish colors and the table sets and shelf arrangements, all good looking.

" Tomorrow's going to be a workaholic day, we better take some rest,"

Sonia said, throwing herself on the bed. Speaking of bed, I seriously don't think that bed would be containing the three of us.

" So cozy,"

Sonia giggled, roaming through the bed.

" It's small. It wouldn't take the three of us,"

Zelda seemed to be thinking exactly what I had in mind.

" Oh come on, it's more than enough for us. We'll just need to learn to sleep on each other and curdle ourselves more often,"

" Gross!"

I spat out earning a quick chuckle from her.

" I'll take the floor, you two can have the bed,"

I concluded, going over to keep my purse on the table. I extracted my phone from it.

" You're the best Cally,"

Zelda exclaimed happily and threw herself on the bed beside Sonia who feigned annoyance.

" Move away, you're taking a lot of space,"

That was from Sonia acting up with her childish tricky ways. I simply rolled my eyes at the two and found my way towards the bathroom wanting to be out of their hearing.

I got into the well tidy and clean bathroom, the air freshener scent winding the place. I spot a jacuzzi not far from where I stood already wishing I was in it.

I sighed then dial my mom's number, honestly hoping she could pick up but she didn't.

I tried again and after the fifth ring she decided to answer. Her silence was accompanied by her erroneous breathing.

" Hey mom, I won't be coming back home for a few days because of the company's campaign. I'm currently at the resort where we'd be taking the shoots and all...I just thought to inform you about_"

" Of course,"

She laconically answered, her voice a little faint.

" Um! Okay. I guess I'll speak with you later then,"

" Sure, bye."

She hung up before I could even pluck the phone off my ear. That hurts though. I press my tears back, cleaning my face then organizing myself, making sure I was well composed before heading out of the bathroom.

Somehow, Sonia and Zelda have fallen asleep. Sighing, I walked up to the bed and slumped down to the floor close to it, my mind wandering with so much right now and my bleeding heart seriously aching from that motherly and daughter fights.

It was already evening but it didn't really seem like it. I slowly closed my eyes, my mind replaying the event that had happened with the boss and I which made me remember the day he had kissed me.

Was it even a kiss? No! I'd just call it a slight peck on the lips. An affectionate one for me but definitely not for him. I vividly remembered his exact words...those words that had created a burning wound in my heart that I couldn't get a hold of myself for the whole day. Sonia and Zelda were even becoming worried for my aid but even after their pleas, I couldn't tell them the reason for my misery.

What were his words again... ' That shit was a fucking mistake. It should never have happened and damn even if it were to happen then it shouldn't have been with you,"

I felt like dying that day, at that moment. I felt the essence of my existence was worthless, the only man I loved said that to me...it was so painful.

Pushing the pensive thoughts aside, my crazy mind decided to create another 'delulu' for itself and it was no other than Jones.

I wouldn't deny the fact that Jones had similar features to the boss, I actually think I was the only one who noticed it or perhaps I was simply being delusional because he reminded me of boss Martinez the first time I saw him.

Jones was unique too and handsome in his own way but I'd choose boss Martinez a million times if I ever got the chance to. It's still unbelievable how mom and I were still in heat because of him.

Damn...

~~~~
" If I ever got the chance to do this with you again, I wouldn't hesitate to pull you beneath my body,"
I quivered, feeling his hot breath against my skin. My small framed body begging beneath him, surprisingly wanting more of his touch. His hands wander over my body, I wasn't naked but almost naked since he was the one slowly stripping me apart. I didn't know who this man was yet he gave me what he had requested without a blemish.
I bit my bottom lip, suppressing the scream that threatened to slip out uncontrollably. Ironically, the pain I felt was deliciously mixed with the pleasures I was getting from him.
I felt his tongue wetting my legs, something that caused my chest to heaved in frantic ecstasy. Surprising how I couldn't do anything to get him off me.
And uncontrollably, a sharp cry escaped my lips, my blood from my wrists dripped down due to sharp crow-like chains that I was tied with.
I heard a quick grunt from the man and before I knew it, he stopped almost as if he had disappeared. I opened my eyes, peeking through the dark to find him but there wasn't a sign of him.
I panted in anxiety using the whole strength I had to break my hands off the painful crows, a lot of my blood wasted as I struggled to climb out of the bed.
" Stranger?"
I yelled, my throat gathering a lot of lump.
" Where are you?"
Abruptly, a face appears at my sight causing a scream to leave my mouth as I fall back, hurdling away in fear. The face had blood oozing out of his mouth, his eyes widen as though they wanted to fall out and soon the body fell off, lifeless.
I became puzzled.
Is that the person I had been having an affair with the whole time?
My eyes shot out in surprise. How could it be?
But how could it be Sam? How could we have been having an affair and how could he be dead...in front of me...
What was going on?
  • Sixty Shades Of The Devil   With Jones
    Taking Jones' idea into consideration, I walked into the bathroom, pulled off my clothes and prepared a warm bath for myself in the jacuzzi before getting in. Whoops! Too warm but it was okay. After enjoying the warm bath, I made it out of the bathroom and retired back to the room where I changed into something else. A baggy pants and a shirt, more like a singlet. I exited the room, heading out towards the beach, the evening clouds slowly turning into darker shades of the night. I sighted my two best friends from afar including Mike, they seemed sadistic, their eyes cowering the place until they landed on me. Immediately, I noticed the slight relief their eyes wore as they scurried to where I was. Sonia immediately embraced me. I stared at the rest, their pitiful eyes resting on me." Is something wrong?"I inquired as Sonia pulled away from me. " We heard about your disqualification from the campaign. Michelle told us about it and that she's also your replacement. We don't get it
    " Are you done? Queenie?"I heard Jones' worried voice calling from outside. I hurriedly wiped off the stain of blood from my ear, wiping my face altogether before drying it with the towel I found here.It wasn't long after we left the beach that my ear had begun to bleed again. It was a good thing Jones didn't get the chance to see it so basically I had to find an excuse to use to be able to get away from him and I was glad I succeeded.Now here I was, wiping the blood away and flushing it down the sink. I walked out of the bathroom, earning a sigh of relief from Jones who dashed over to me, the concerned look in his face couldn't be hidden, that look of his...it touched my heart." Are you okay? You took longer than I expected,"I smiled." Yes, because it was unexpectedly stronger than I expected. It could make anyone crave it a million times but somehow, I couldn't bring myself to eat a piece from the food even though my stomach growled in hunger, I just couldn't. Jones, however, returned to the table with glass cups and a bottle of wine. He sat beside me and filled the cups with it, handing one over to me.   • Sixty Shades Of The Devil   A clue
    Scarlett's POV: I opened my eyes to see the sunlight reflecting into the room. I found myself lying on the comfy bed, Jones was nowhere to be seen. I sat up on the bed and when I did, I felt a terrible headache practically knocking me out. I winced in pain until I was able to recall everything that had happened from last time. From the drinks, to emotional talks and confession of feelings and then to his room where he showed me a painting that he made out of heartbreak. He basically offered it to me and I collected it without any disapproval. We had somehow fallen asleep.As I looked around I heard some whispers coming from the living room. It didn't sound like Jones, instead it sounded like some angry lady who had been robbed of her money or something. I got up from the bed and hastily walked out and got into the living room where I saw Jones with a brunette lady. Quite tall with a body like that of a female athlete. My presence seemed to be acknowledged because she stopped talking
    Scarlett's POV:" What just happened?"Sonia asked, obviously surprised. Of course, she was as surprised as I was so I wasn't just the only one who seemed to notice the cooking fish. I walked up to close the door making sure it was locked before heading towards the racks of clothes.Sonia still didn't say anything, her hand was placed around her neck as she stared at the wall, probably trying to digest everything that happened. " You think there's something going on that we don't know?" Sonia queried and I turned around to look at her. The surprise look she had on her face earlier was gone and replaced with what seemed like distress." I don't know what to say," I answered honestly, pulling my top over my head." I should probably go check on them and see what's going on,"Of course she should. I was so curious to know what the hell was happening, why Zelda acted like an asshole and why Jones followed her when she left. That guy hadn't even sent half a week here but yet they had both
He had told me that to get there was going to be a long journey, five days to be precise. So I thought packing a few things would help. I thanked Jessy before heading out. Thankful that I didn't have to bump into Miriam. Talon was already waiting outside along with Gray whose face depicted worries but it seemed to disappear the instant he saw me. How the fuck did he even get here? I owned the place yet no fucking person except Miriam had told me about Jones. Shit and that was when I lost it. So what now? You'd come with me to Dondania, will you?"For a moment, Maya wondered. How would she feel going to Dondania with Diego when she had a lot of ' finding Scarlett and murdering her soon enough' plan to work on?" I'm good,"Diego didn't protest. He could handle the remaining taka himself now. The very moment they had left the warehouse, Diego had left a note, telling his secret investigators to head to Dondania and begin their search. The secret investigators were the source he used for his findings and dirty works. Those investigators were the ones who had kidnapped Jessica on the command of Diego.
