[Third person POV] For Carrie Walker, who was the best she-wolf in the world, it was quite annoying having people burst into her bedroom like that. But what made her angrier was how they disrespected her alpha and how he was letting them. “Who the hell are you? Do you disrespect the alpha and Luna of the Crescent pack that much,” she shouts angrily. At that a green haired girl walks to her, “I am so sorry for the disrespect, Avisa can be a bit impulsive.” She couldn’t help but feel fulfilled, at least one of the barbarians that barged in knew their place, she folded her arms smugly. “Hmph… well tell that filthy woman to kneel,” she says smugly, the green haired girl with was so shocked her equally green eyes almost popped out. “Pardon?” “I say tell that filthy girl to kneel,” Carrie commanded pointing at the Avisa girl who had yet to let go of her alpha. “I am afraid I cannot.” The response made her angry, she just apologized because she knew her place now, she is refusing or
Due to writer's block, Siren's blood will be on break for the whole of April 2023, it will come back next week better. I have been going through some lack of creativity in the story, given it my first fantasy story and I need a lot of work to tackle the genre in my own way. I have a clear vision on how I want to steer the story, I just don't know how to execute the ideas yet, I will be learning more about the genre and the mythical creatures I plan to introduce in the future. Thank you for the support thus far, in the meantime you can check out My scam marriage, my other story if romance is your thing. 🦋🦋🦋🦋
[Avisa POV] It has been a good night, well it would have been great if I got to cut that fool’s throat, how dare he humiliate my Lia. “Can you stop buzzing?” Big Dean grumbles, “some of us have to sleep.” “You can go sleep in the other room if you want,” I say sarcastically, well I had a chance to choose between sleeping in the guest room with Lia or sharing a room with Dean and guess what I chose. “This is my room, why should I be the one that move?” “Well because you are the one who doesn’t like my sleeping habits,” I say, annoying Dean until he let me have this big bed of his, that was my plan, but it has been failing. He was supposed to hate my guts but for some reason this fool is okay sharing a bed with me. “You are the most unreasonable woman I have ever met,” his tired eyes made me feel a bit guilty, “I am going to sleep don’t bother me.” ‘Ugh… guess I will have to settle with sharing the bed.’ I tell myself, wow me being reasonable to someone other than Ophelia, ‘goo
[Dean POV] I know father was going to be asking many questions about this. “She is a friend, she slept over because had nowhere else to go.” My father glared at me angrily, “wow, so Jason is busy looking for a mate and you are busy sleeping around?” “Father I am not sleeping around; she just spent a night…...” "In your bed? Wow, your mother was right you might not be fit for the throne," he angrily scolded me, Avisa was clearly not happy about this, I had crossed my fingers that she doesn’t do anything stupid. “Yes, he shared a bed with me, and he was in his best behavior,” she says rolling her eyes, “and last time I checked his mother died.” Her last statement was uncalled for, she need not say that to my father as he really valued his current wife and would take any crap regarding her. “Little girl does not intervene this is family business,” he growled, “you are just some snacks he is going to bleed dry.” I felt my fist ball with anger, how dare he speak to her like that. B
[Third person POV] Jordan felt shiver down his spine as he exits his son’s room, bloodlust; he wanted to kill him, he wanted to kill his own son, the very vampire that took his wife. Many thought that his new wife would capture his heart, but she didn’t, instead he believed her because he believed his own son was evil. He believed Dean Stoker didn’t deserve the life he has now, for his lovely wife had to die for him to be alive, “your majesty, are you okay?” Dylan asks, Jordan looks at Dylan, tears couldn’t stop, “I hate my son Dylan, I hate Dean,” he says with a sad voice. “Your majesty,” Dylan shows sympathy. “It is not even his fault, his mother chose his life over hers, but it still hurt,” Jordan in between gasps, “I don’ want to hate him, he is my son, I should love him.” “Your majesty, you don’t need to beat yourself up, you can improve your relationship with him,” Dylan says, “I am happy you are able to admit that you are wrong.” “It is too late, he found his mate and t
[Third person POV] “I am not lying, I saw her with Jason,” Ophelia says. “But Carrie says she is the one who saw you conspiring with him,” Arnoux says in a firm voice, “she said you wanted to be the next Luna.” “And why would I want that?” Ophelia argues, “Visa I am not lying, I saw her talking about destroying us, we need to go to sea.” Avisa had taken a deep breath before speaking, “okay, we will leave after the ball okay,” Avisa says hugging her friend. “Come on your friend is clearly making this up, she just wants me to…...” Arnoux says but is cut short when Dean glares at him. “The same way you will blindly believe her,” Avisa says pointing at Carrie, “I will blindly believe my friend,” she continued, “what that woman said didn’t make no sense, Ophelia doesn’t want you and sure as well doesn’t want you stinking title.” Carrie rolled her eyes, she had seen Ophelia follow her and luckily, she was able to come up with a plan to cause a rift between her and her friends, with J
[Dean POV] Getting ready for the ball had already had my fangs tingling, it is not my intentions to feed into superstitions, but any vampire knows that is a bad sign. But I get to see Avisa do something crazy and possibly get her to want to stay in land with me. I had always thought the mate system was a weird one, but here I am longing for the woman chosen for me. I quickly got out of the scorching hot shower, Avi is bad at time management, I better go get her before we are late. “Your Majesty, we have a small problem,” Holden barges in my room along with Dylan. “What is going on? is Avi, okay?” I shout frantically, they look at each other before they sigh. “No, Miss Avisa is okay, but I am not sure for how long?” Dylan says in a low tone. “What do you mean?” “I don’t think we should attend the ball,” Holden says clenching his jaw, “the queen met with the vampire council.” “And?” I asked cockily, I know my stepmother must be planning something sinister, but Avisa is lookin
[Third POV] Arnoux was very anxious about the ball mostly because Carrie was beginning to suspect something wrong with their bond, and his wolf was beginning to reject her. “You haven’t explained to me why you are so protective of green hair,” Carrie asked again. “Dean’s mate is very protective of her, if you start a fight, she will start a fight and that will strain my friendship with Dean,” Arnoux lies so easily. “Can you stop talking about that, we have a ball to host, let us get ready,” he says before leaving the room. Carrie knows he is lying, but she doesn’t care, even if her plan to isolate green hair from her support system for the ball failed, she knows the vampire queen is already planning something. It will all be over tonight, and she will get the affectionate Arnoux back. The ball was prepared in the fanciest ways, Carrie had hired the best shapeshifter to prepare for it. The half-moon was just a nice icing on the cake as it illuminated werewolves’ power, not as muc
