When Angeline, Grandma Boye, and Grandpa were dining together, Grandpa and Grandma Boye were teasing Jay.

“Angeline, when you were ill, Jay couldn’t eat or sleep for days. He became taciturn and quiet and was particularly boring,” said Grandpa.

“He was more than boring. He was like a walking dead puppy that didn’t speak or laugh.
