Chapter 97: Remember?

*DRAVEN*

Before I could understand what I was doing I was already walking up to her. I couldn't watch her standing there looking pretty for someone else and before she could reply to him I had punched Alfeo making him stagger back and away from her.

“Alfeo!” I heard someone shout but my senses weren’t in my control. All I could see was blood. I needed to hurt him. I needed to hurt him enough to somehow get rid of the pain that he had ignited in my heart.

“I told you to stay away from her,” I mumbled to no one in particular as I stalked over to him and punched him again, this time making him fall down.

“Draven!” someone called out to me but the wind was whooshing in my ears carrying the echo of his proposal.

‘Will you marry me?’

Laughter resounded in my ears following that question. Memories of Silia laughing and crying when I had proposed to her filled my mind. It irked me, it made me wonder if she would have reacted in that same manner if I hadn’t interjected.
