The chest x-ray and blood tests indicate improvement, and the ventilator support has stabilized her breathing."

Cherry's movements ceased as she fixated on the doctor's words, hope beginning to pierce through the layers of anxiety. “Really, doc? You're not just pulling our legs, are you?”
