Amelia woke up with a start. Her heart was pounding heavily against her ribcage, and her breathing was hitched. The bedsheet underneath her was soaked in sweat and so were her nighties. She was having a nightmare which she couldn't even remember, but she knew it was terrible.
Her throat was dry which was expected because of the amount of fluid that had left her body. She stretched out her hand to turn on the bedside lamp, then she crawled out of the bed. She located her phone and turned it on, squinting her eyes to adjust to the brightest of the phone's screen. It was just 2:45 am. She threw the phone back to the bed and walked out of the room for a glass of water. She was just closing the refrigerator after taking out a bottle of water when she thought she heard whispers. She stood quietly to listen and then she heard it again, it was coming from the balcony. Her already stable heart began to pound again, she gently placed the bottle of water on the table and walked quietly on her tiptoes to the balcony to see who it was. It was so late in the night, everyone should have gone to bed, or was that a burglar? She cautiously walked to the balcony and found out it was Rey. She felt calm but tensed up moments later. Rey was making a phone call, he was leaning on the fancy rails and was talking in low whispers but it looked like he was threatening someone and Amelia immediately became suspicious. "Do not let him go away. If he does, you better go away with him, because I'll find you both and I'll-" "Rey?" Amelia called, cutting him short. Rey was startled. He immediately turned to see Amelia standing a few feet away from him. "Let me call you back." He said and hung up the call, tucking the phone into his pocket while Amelia stared cautiously at him. "How long have you been standing there? What did you hear?" He inquired, hoping she had not heard anything. Amelia's brows furrowed. "Who was that on the phone?" She asked. "It was no one," Rey responded. "No one?" "Yeah, someone you don't know. A family member." Rey said and his pupils flickered. "Who calls a family member by 2 AM? Rey, who was that?" Amelia interrogated suspiciously. "Pfft. I am the bodyguard and not you. Whoever I talk to on the phone should not be your concern." Rey snapped, as he confirmed she did not hear anything. "Really?" "Why are you even asking me all these questions? Is it now a crime to make calls? I haven't spoken to my family because I have been babysitting a grown woman, and now that I have decided to do so, you are making it look suspicious." Rey accused and Amelia's eyes narrowed. "I am not going to have you insult me. I am only being security conscious here. Everyone else would be, because making calls at 2 AM is suspicious. Gosh." Amelia gritted out and rolled her eyes. "Okay, fine. I'm sorry. But I was just making a normal call." Rey apologized, raising his hand in a mock surrender. "Well, good for you," Amelia mumbled. She still looked pissed. "Come on Princess, you are overthinking things. I'm sorry, okay?" He whispered into her ears and pecked her on her cheek. "It's okay," Amelia said, trying to suppress the growing smile on her face. Rey noticed it and gently pinched her nose. "Why are you up?" He finally asked. "I think I had a nightmare," Amelia replied. "A nightmare? What was it about?" Rey implored and Amelia gave him a quizzical look. "Really? What are you doing now? A dream interpreter?" "No- I mean, you never can tell. I might know what it means."He urged, then he winked at her. "Hahaha, very funny. But unfortunately, I don't remember a thing." Amelia responded with a false smile on her face. "Oh.." "And, I was just going to get a glass of water when I heard whispers coming from this direction." She added. Rey's mouth formed an O shape in realization and he nodded slowly. "Ah- I see." He said. "So, now that I have seen that everything is under control. I would just go get my water and go back to bed." "Oh, let me walk you back to your bedroom-" Rey suggested and Amelia turned to him. "-I mean, if it's okay with you." He immediately added. "Um.. yeah, sure," Amelia said though she looked a little hesitant about it. They both walked to the kitchen to get Amelia's water, then they walked to her room. "Wow. That is a lot of sweating." Rey remarked on seeing the sweat patch on the bed. "Mind your own business," Amelia said, but she had an amused smile on her face as she stared at the patch too. She went into her walk-in closet to get a new set of bedding as there was no way she could lay on the soaked one. She returned to the room in no time with a red bedsheet. "Let me help you with it, while you go take a shower," Rey suggested, leaning over to take the bedsheet from her. "Oh-" Amelia started with a smile, but then she frowned. "No. It's embarrassing, I would rather do it myself." She said, hugging the soft bedsheet. Rey chuckled and forcefully snatched it away from her. "It's in my hands. Now, go take a shower." He ordered and Amelia pouted in response. She quickly scouted for neat clothes and rushed into the bathroom. When she came out a few minutes later, Rey had changed the beddings, and the sweat-soaked one was folded neatly in a corner. "Thank you." She mouthed towards Rey who sat on the bed watching her as if the towel on her body was transparent. Seeing the way he was looking at her made her cheeks flush, and she wanted him to touch her and not just look at her. She bit her lips- "Princess?" Rey called, dragging her out of her dirty thoughts. "What? I..um..I need to get dressed. Kindly excuse me." She said quickly, staring at her feet in embarrassment. She was afraid he had found out what she was thinking. "But, I'm not even looking," Rey stated and she lifted her gaze to meet his. He was still looking at her. "And besides, it's nothing I haven't seen before." He added with a light smirk. Amelia felt her cheeks burn and her pussy becoming wet. "Or, should I help you get dressed?" Rey asked in a deep voice, and without waiting for a response, he got out of bed and walked towards her…Amelia opened her wardrobe, and stared at it for some minutes. She had absolutely nothing to wear. She had gotten an impromptu invite as a host to a birthday party, it was a golden color themed party which was set to hold by 4pm that very day. She had only gotten the invite by 10am. She closed the wardrobe in frustration and fell on the bed in exhaustion. She didn't want to disappoint her friend and she also didn't want to be the only one looking different. She picked up her phone to write a text saying she wouldn't be able to make it, but she couldn't gather the courage to do so.**********Rey had been waiting for Amelia to come down for breakfast, the cook had prepared breakfast a few hours ago, but Amelia didn't seem to be coming down soon. He decided to go up to her bedroom to call her down.He walked to her bedroom, then he knocked on the door."Come in," Amelia groaned after Rey had knocked on the door three consecutive times. She was in no mood to talk to him, as she knew he w
Amelia looked breathtaking, Rey almost couldn't take his eyes off her. She hugged him tightly, muttering little words of appreciation."A perfect dress for a Princess." He had responded. Indeed it was perfect, Amelia wondered how the dress was her exact size because Rey never asked her.It was already 6pm then, which meant the party had already started. Rey didn't want to let her go alone, just as she had expected. He helped her get into the car, then he drove her to the location of the party.Loud music was booming inside the hall when they arrived. Rey helped Amelia out of the car and she gulped."I'll stay here in the car. You need all the attention you can get." Rey said, then he winked at her.Amelia nodded and walked into the hall. As soon as she entered, it looked as if the world had stopped and everyone was staring at her. She ignored the stares and frantically looked around, her eyes finally met the person she was searching for and she nervously walked up to her."Sorry I'm l
Amelia paced around her room with a worried expression on her face. She heard the main gate make a sound and she rushed to the window to check, but it was just the wind pushing the gate. She sighed heavily and walked to sit on her bed. After sitting for a few seconds, she stood up and walked out of the room, dragging her feet to Rey's bedroom. She pushed the door open, with her mouth pressed together in a thin line, her heart racing in anticipation and her eyes looking hopeful. But after looking around and seeing no one inside, her face fell. She decided to hold on to the tiny thread of hope left in her as she went into his bathroom, but he still wasn't there.Amelia had a sullen look on her face as she slowly walked to his bed and sank into it.This was the thirteenth trip she was making to his room that day. He had left the as early as 6am, way before she woke up. He told the cook that he was going for a jog around the estate and he would be back very soon. Amelia had woken up by 9
Rey, open up!" Amelia said, knocking the bedroom door, but it was as if Rey had gone in and had vanished because he pretended not to hear her. After knocking without any results, Amelia finally returned to her own bedroom. She didn't know why he was treating her that way. She was only worried about him and wanted to talk. He had just said he had been abducted, so what was so hard for him to comply?**************Rey was finding it hard to go to bed. His mind was a jumble of thoughts. From wondering if Amelia bought his made up story, to thinking if he created any room for doubt in her mind. He couldn't make sense of anything. "What was I thinking?" He questioned himself as he laid down in bed.Rey figured it was a bad idea to have claimed he was kidnapped because now Amelia would be worried especially when he slammed the door behind her without further explanation. He could only hide away for tonight, he couldn't escape her interrogations tomorrow. Rey rose up from the bed, headed
"Princess, can I talk to you?" Rey said to Amelia.Amelia buried her face even deeper into the magazine. She was worried about Rey but that didn't surpass her annoyance for him ignoring her.Rey sighed softly and approached her.Amelia immediately stood up and went to the dining room.Rey got the message, He was being ignored. As soon as Amelia settled down in her chair, breakfast was served.Rey smirked as he watched her dish her food herself. This felt ridiculous but he really wished he was doing that for her as usual. "Never knew my Princess was so petty" Rey finally broke the silence in the dining room."What was that?" Amelia's fork dropped from her hand as she glared at him.Rey smirked again, oblivious to Amelia's rising anger. If pissing her off was the only way to get her talking, he'd take it."Uh,nothing I was just uh…" He trailed off."Now you got speech disorder? I dare you to repeat that!""I never knew my princess was so petty, there I said it." Rey said in a relaxed
It was hard to admit but Amelia started enjoying Rey's company. It wasn't like she accepted the idea of having a babysitter, she just felt somewhat safer whenever he was around or so she thought.Amelia was going on a beach trip and Rey went with her. Chelsea couldn't make it. Everytime Amelia visited the beach, she always had Pina colada, her favorite drink. She set up a lounge chair and an umbrella, applied her sunscreen and laid down there, taking few sips of her drink as she breathed in fresh air.Rey walked towards Amelia with a little box in his hand. His muscular body was glistening from the water and Amelia was mesmerized. He looked so hot."Hey princess, I wanted you to keep this for me. I'm bout to go surfing." Rey passed the box to Amelia who nodded in response. But as he turned his back to leave, she wondered if what she felt was just attraction or it meant more.No way, it's not love. Nuh uh. Amelia shook her head in disagreement. Amelia watched Rey surf and she didn'
Amelia couldn't keep crying over spilled milk and so she decided to move on from Max.She also tried to move on from Rey. She had barely healed from Max, she couldn't possibly get into another emotional rollercoaster. That too, with her bodyguard. But Amelia was open to other options, and a dating app sounded perfect. Took a few minutes to download the app and it was all set up.Maybe it was the goofy picture of herself on her profile or the funny username but whatever it was, was not getting Amelia any texts. After many minutes of waiting, Amelia was going through the app when she found a matchmaking section. She tapped it and boom! She got matchmaked with someone named with Desmondhottie. What a weird name, Amelia wondered. She scrolled through his profile and figured he lived around the estate. It must be a sign, she thought.Desmond- "Hi sexy"Amelia looked at the text, unsure of how to respond.Amelia- "Hello there."Desmond- "I'll just go straight to the point, where do we me
Rey and Amelia spent most of the day arguing and ignoring each other.Since they got back home that night, they've been fighting. Amelia refused to talk to Rey despite his persistent pleas. She also warned him not to follow her anywhere but he refused and that pissed her off the more. She went into the kitchen to get her juice from the fridge and when she got back, she couldn't find her pancakes. She grumbled into the living room and there it was, her plate of pancakes in Rey's hands."Give it back.""Not until my princess talks to me." "I don't want to talk to you, let me have my food this instant!" Amelia snapped but Rey still held on to the plate."I miss you talking to me, for how long will you stay mad at me?""As long you keep interfering in my personal life."Amelia said with clenched fists."But you know it's my job to protect you from danger." "Just because you're my bodyguard doesn't give you the right to control my life. I don't need you interfering in my lovelife, okay?
