Chapter 80

Willow’s POV

I know I said I had fallen asleep after having my ass beaten red, quite literally. But apparently, he caught me drifting off as the suffering engulfed me, causing him to shove me off his lap.

My sore body goes flailing down onto the hard floor and I cry out in pain from being woken up so incredibly violently.

Where did my other Maddox go? This is the Maddox I met when I was first captured which was years ago now… I-I thought he change. I thought we would be okay finally, after all, we’ve been through. I guess not… He’ll always be the monster I met three years ago.

He gets up from the bed, taking slow, tensed-up steps towards the doors as I lay there curled up on the floor.

“Since we’ve already done what we need to do a few hours ago, I will let you off the hook for t
