The sound of her screams was like music to my ears. Basking in bliss, I left her there and walked outside, closing my eyes to feel the night air on my face. She would pay... tonight.

The warehouse loomed in the night, a shadow against a canvas of stars. The air was thick with the scent of damp earth and rust, mingling with the faint tang of old oil and machinery. Those boys picked a good spot.

Outside, the symphony of the night played its haunting tune: the distant hoot of an owl, the rustle of leaves, and the incessant chirping of crickets. Occasionally, the scurrying of small creatures echoed in the stillness, their presence a mere whisper against the oppressive silence.
