Maria’s POV

I was in hell, the deepest and darkest part of hell to be exact, since my mother arrived she had taken over the entire house, demanding that this belonged here and that belonged there and Ethan had happily followed her around doing whatever she wanted, I was so glad when we settled down to have dinner, she was finally going to settle down and let things be as they were.

Dinner was served and we settled down to eat, she kept on telling Ethan about her latest trip to France and all the wonderful shops she had visited and the new foods she had tried, I wondered how Ethan did it, he listened to her with such patience and was even nice enough to input comments when they were needed.
