2020-12-31 19:11:28I got back to the apartment on foot and I can’t explain how bad my body hurts. I bet I was having a fever from all the stress and the bruises I got from earlier. I didn’t apply anything to them and dozed off soon after.
I woke up in the morning and took a shower really quick. The scratches were still fresh and hurting, getting ready for another hour of pain with Ryker in his so-called gym, but during the time I was in the bathroom, I felt like someone was in my room.
I hesitated to come out, wrapped in the towel because for obvious reasons. I changed into my gym outfit, wearing a sweater to cover up my arms to prevent anyone from seeing my injuries. When I came out, the room was filled with silence. He wasn't there, it was only my mind playing games. Was it true that he never came into my room? If so, then what was resting on my bed? It was a small box.
I wondered how it came there because I don't remember buying anything from this brand of jewelry.
