Chapter 221: Uncertainties

I walk hand in hand with Seth and I feel like a bubbly person, which makes me feel guilty, because the circumstances are not the best. He has been so supportive of me and of my weaknesses that I can't stop thanking him for everything.

'You don't have to thank me for all that, wouldn't you have done the same if I were in that same place?' Seth speaks to me through our mind connection and I chuckle and blush.

I see my father flying towards us and as soon as he lands a few feet away, he shifts to his human form and comes to hug me. I let go of Seth's hand and squeezed my father tightly.

"I was so worried, so so worried. You are ferociously dangerous my child, but you need to stop endangering yourself."

With a chuckle, I nod. "What are we fighting for if it isn't for our survival? If I don't help you and we don't win, then there is going to be nothing left."

He rolls his eyes at me as he lets me go. "Don't try to be a smartass with me, young lady."
