I gently hold Meadow's hand in mine as we hear the debrief of information both Alex and Craig are giving us, I am proud of the outcome of this war, and very happy we managed to survive the day.

"...After that, Alpha Smithson took over as you suggested and they cornered the last warriors from their last wave of attack, none of them survived. I waited until I heard from Alex before we moved together towards the rest of the people like you directed me to do Alpha." Craig finished his report and then went quiet.

I nod at him then to Alex, who resumed his report. "The last warriors from their side seemed to be lost after we all heard the loud screams that came from the woods, the sign of Cornelius fall. It probably broke any manipulating bond he had over them. They were not many but they all begged for mercy. We have them in the dungeons well taken care of, we gave them food and told them we would wait for your orders about what we would do with them."
