I haven't told you much about them but they basically can shift into some animals of their choice, never more than five in total... a shape shifter is versatile but has limitations, their nature and elements rule over their animals, and they can't be shifted for long, however, there was a legendary race, the original full blood shifters, who could remain in their animals indefinitely... my father was one of them, and his animals were fantastic ones..."
