Pierce's POV
Sitting here in the meeting room, ready to discuss business with everyone present, I take a deep breath. Rockledge is by my side, seeming much more easy going than I feel. "Are we going to be able to do this?"
He slaps me on the back as he nods. "Yes, we have to. Someone has to get things going forward here, and without Iris or Sigmund here to lead, we have to take over. Sophia is too busy with the babies and... we can do this, Pierce."
I take his hand and hold it on the table as we look at the people surrounding us. There are over five thousand residents now at our little hideaway. We have gotten so much done without Iris and Sigmund around, but I really want them here.
