Chapter 5

"This is a bad idea guys!" Damein groaned. 

"Shut up Damein. Stop acting like a scared kitten." Mason said and rolled his eyes. 

They all were walking deeper and deeper into the forest but still haven't found the castle. 

The dark forest was scaring everyone including Ethan and Mason but they decided to act brave. 

The huge trees were looking scary, almost terrifying and due to no light it was scaring everyone even more. The only source of light they had was moon. The thick fog wasn't even helping them. 

It was all silence until Damien again broke it. 

"Guys what if a wild animal comes and kills us?" He asked horrified. 

"Then we will first throw you to him and than run for our life." Aaron muttered gaining some chuckles. 

"I am not joking." Damien give him a look. 

"Even me." Aaron said.

They all continued to walk when Ruby was the castle. "There's a castle!" Ruby shouted and pointed her finger at it. 

Everyone looked at her direction she was pointing at. Indeed, there was a castle. 

Thea looked at the big castle. It was the same castle she saw in the morning. 

The castle was huge. It was black in colour making it look creepy and dangerous. The castle looked like it was old, too old. One can definitely tell that it was built years and years ago. The castle had large pillars on which something in a different language was written. It's gate was huge, almost half the size of the castle. 

Overall, the castle looked dangerous. 

"It's so scary." Alice whispered. Everyone agreed with her including Ethan and Mason. The castle indeed looked like it was cursed. 

"Let's go inside." Ethan said. He was trying to act brave in front of everyone but in reality he was shivering in fear. 

"We go back Ethan. It is not fun anymore." Aaron said. Others agreed with him. 

"The castle is looking so terrifying. Fuck! I can't stay here anymore." Damien said. 

"Don't be such a pussy Damein. We will go inside. There's nothing to be scared of. It's just a normal castle, nothing else." Ethan said. 

"Normal?! Are you fucking joking with me? This castle is anything but normal Ethan. Have you ever saw any castle which looked so fucking terrifying. There's something wrong with it. We need to leave from here, Ethan." Damein hissed angrily. 

"If you want to behave like a fucking scared kitten than go back. No one is stopping you. I am going inside. If anyone wants to come then they can." Ethan said in anger and went inside the castle. 

Mason shoke his head at Ethan and went inside too. He can't leave his bestfriend alone, no matter what. 

Mia gulped seeing Mason go inside. With trembling legs she too went behind them. She won't leave Mason alone. He needs to know that she is better, much better than that Thea. 

Soon, one by one everyone went inside including Thea. Thea didn't wanted to go inside the scary looking castle but she didn't wanted to stay outside alone. 

Damein looked at everyone helpless. Why isn't anyone understanding that it's not safe to go inside. He sighed before he too went inside. 

Thea looked around the castle scared. She was having this feeling inside her that something is not right. 

It was too silent inside the castle which made everyone scared. The sound of their footsteps could be heard as they walked on the floor. 

Inside the castle everything looked old and worn out. The chairs and tables had dust on them. Every little thing which was present inside the castle looked of ancient time. 

They all walked through the corridor silently. It was so silently that even there breathing could be heard. 

Thea looked around. She gazed at a huge portrait of a man. She couldn't see the face of the man because dust was settled all over it. The only thing which she could see was his dark green eyes which felt like it was looking into her soul. The man in the portrait looked real, like he was standing in front of her. 

However, the man in the portrait looked huge. He was all muscles. He was tall, enormously tall. He has to be around 6'7. She was sure that this man can fight with many people without anyone's help and win the fight too. She is not exaggerating. With the body he has she is sure that he was the ruler of this castle. 

If the man looked so powerful in the portrait itself than he would be so terrifying in real. She is sure that everyone would be scared of him.

Thea shivered looking at the portrait. If this man would have been present in front of her than she would have fainted due to fear. 

In between all this, Thea didn't realised that she stopped to look at the portrait. She was left behind. 

Thea looked around and found no one. She looked around scared. Where did everyone went? She looked around and started searching for them. Tears formed in her eyes as she realised that she is lost. 

She stared to search for everyone. Her lips wobbled, she tried hard not to cry but the tears ran down her cheeks. Her cheeks became red due to crying. 

She went head. She kept walking and walking. It was scaring her so much. She wants to be with everyone, she wants to be with Ava. 

Thea didn't realised where she was going. She just kept walking in the hope to find everyone else. 

She wanted to shout for help but no voice was coming out of her mouth. It was like she couldn't speak anything. 

With trembling legs she kept walking. She rubbed her hands together. 

Thea didn't realised when her leg got tangled with the mat and she fell down into a basement. 

Thea cried and tried to get up. Her leg was hurting. She touched her leg and felt blood. She cried harder. 

She looked around and that's when she realised that she is in the basement. 

All alone.
