Ares wanted nothing more than to go to his mate. He had been busy for the entire day and didn't got any time to visit his mate. He knows she must be waiting for him and he felt guilty for the first time in his life.

Since Thea has came in his life, he has been feeling many emotions which were all foreign to him. There's a first time for everything and now it is his chance to experience those foreign emotions.

He decided to visit her camp. It was around ten in night and there darkness was spread everywhere, just like the darkness in his heart and he wanted to visit his light now, his Thea.

He teleported towards her camp. When he reached there, he saw that the entire place was empty. There was no sign of a single human let alone his mate. The thing which could be seen was tall and thick trees.

A roar escaped his lips and his eyes turned black, terrifying black which was enough to make anyone tremble in terror.
