UNKNOWN POV;

The clacking of heels on the floor alerted the man of another presence. He looked over his shoulder and sighed a woman walking toward him. He turned and faced the endless sky that spanned in front of him.

"Took you long enough." The man said with a light chuckle.

"Your meeting places are always the worst." She retorted. She sounded like someone who had ran fifteen laps. The man still had his back turned to her as he spoke.

"I'm surprised at how smooth things are." The smirk could be heard in his voice as he spoke.

"I won't say it's smooth." The woman snorted before walking to stand beside him at the edge of the roof he stood. They watched the night sky together.

"That's because you only see the surface." He replied like a poet, his eyes gleaming with sadistic joy. "It's only a matter of time before Rosewood Enterprise is plunged into winter."

"You mean plunged into the dessert." The woman replied, matching his sadistic state while brushing some strands from her face. Th

Morgan's POV: The hawk eyes of everyone was on me ready to pounce. Liam and Benedict looked like they were about to murder someone. But when I looked up at them, they quickly looked away, still throwing spears in my direction. My father on his own end, sat with no emotion on his face. While Sabrina met my face with a reassuring smile. Someone cleared their throat as the silence was becoming deafening. I straightened my already straight self, enjoying the silence maybe a little too much as I looked from one face to another, scanning the room."Do you mind telling us what's going on?" Liam finally asked. I smiled at him. He didn't look happy. He never did look happy anyway. My smile only made whatever fury he had for me grow much worse, but I just smiled brighter, reading his expression. The evening of yesterday, I had sued Nova. The news got out this morning, causing an uproar much more than when I had been revealed as the anonymous buyer of the Bloom companies. Even Nora had come

Morgan's POV I needed a treat and the best treat now, was to spend time with him and do things we could do thanks to Dante's sudden show up at the park. Thankfully, he seemed to know and had texted me at the perfect time. Wow knows, he must have seen the news and had seemed it fit as something celebratory. I behaved myself as the door moved indicating Sabrina's return. But she wasn't alone."Dad." I called as I stood up for my seat. "I'm sorry." He said, and Sabrina had the understanding to leave as I walked towards him. "For all I did. How I treated you. If I had known you were handling it well... I should have.. " He exhaled. "I should have asked why plans you had, instead I mistrusted you and left you to handle things all alone juts like that day at school." I laughed shaking my head. "I'm really sorry that I maad myself unapproachable as I did years back. And I promise... It will never happen again." I smiled at him, still shaking my head. "It's fine." I said to him."No it's

Morgan's POVI didn't bother about how loud my voce had been. All I did was pick up my bag and say to Winston. "I'm sorry but I have to leave." I didn't wait for his reply as I hurried out of the restaurant. He met me outside."What's wrong?" I shook my head. "Just something urgent.""Do you mind if I drive you?" "No!" It came out hastier than I wanted it to. "No " I said again, softly this time. "You can't." He couldn't drive me home. I couldn't risk him knowing that I have kids, wouldn't let him in on that piece of information. What if he said he didn't want to see me again because of it? What if... I exhaled trying a smile and failing woefully. "I have to go. Thank you for the dinner." And I turned and left.Since I didn't come with my car, I took a taxi instead, wishing the taxi driver would step on it. I couldn't wait to alight the taxi as I hopped out of it running to the house. They weren't there. Bad mistake. I quickly called my dad."Morgan where are you? We've..."I cut hi

Morgan's POVA thundering round of applause filled the air as I matched forward to do the honours of merging the bloom companies to the Rosewood Enterprise. I walked elegantly, my dad and Sabrina standing on the opposite sides of ribbon that I as to cut to officially merge the companies. I smiled at every smiling faces. Even at the reporters that had almost sent me to an asylum thanks to their stupid theories and generalized articles. It's funny how he tables change, and now they want to know about me. Shy of a month ago, they were spreading every manner of false news they could get about me to ruin my reputation. But oh well, let bygones be bygones, right? And besides, it wasn't their fault anyway.I walked to the ribbon, smoothing my Camden Cashmere white jacket which I had planned to wear when I'd have Nova revealed to the world as she truly was. Morgan's POVWhen it seemed like evening was approaching, I took an excuse from my dad as I was to check in on Miranda. I walked into the room, to see Mr Vontrap sitting on a seat with snook in his hands. He lifted his eyes from the book as I walked in, standing up to greet me. I gave a little bow to him smiling as I walked over to Miranda's side. "She woke up, ate and went back to sleep." He said as I touched her face.I had been able to convince Cole that his sister would not be happy that he missed school because of her and that the doctors here and I were going to take good care of her. He had grumbled but after some effort, I had won him over, making him change his mind. "Thank you for watching her." I said to Mr Vontrap. He nodded. "You a leave now." I smiled at him. • She's back   celebrity CEO

Morgan's POVWinston and I arrived in a car I didn't know he had. I had had trouble the previous day trying to pick out my attire for tonight. I had decided to go for a long royal purple gown that had Swarovski crystals encrusted all across its neckline, sleeves and bodice. I wore a pair of dainty silver heels and matching diamond tassels on my ears. I intentionally remained in the car while he walked out and opened my car door for me. I smiled as I walked out of the car, the view was breathtaking. There were lights hung here and there. Colourful lights that one would have thought that it was a fairytale gathering and not a gathering of doctors in the country. Glances were being cast in our direction as we moved towards the door heading to the dinner hall. Winston held my hand, leading me to a spot. I looked at him, wondering why we were walking towards there where a couple stood. It was when I noticed the camera man that I realized what was happening. The couple, or rather the man

Morgan's POVWinston led me to the secret passage which happened to be a detached elevator that worked with solar energy. Which was quite hidden. "So how many people know about this?"He smiled before pressing the button that opens the door. "Only me." My eyes widened a little bit but he stopped me off my feet, carrying my into the elevator. "You really have to stop doing that." I giggled. He smiled again as the door closed. There were no buttons inside, that could lead to anywhere so I guessed that it only led to the rooftop. When we finally got to the rooftop, he dropped me on my feet. I ran to the edge of the roof, looking down at the entrance to the dinner venue and oh my God! It was magnificent. The lights all around, illuminating the area without removing the view of the beautiful night. It was a correlation between the lighting and the beauty of the night in such a way that it looked magical. It looked really poetic. "This is beautiful." I gasped, still staring down at the f

Morgan's POVSo far, so good, the news of Winston and I had spread like wide fire and just like the wind helped spread fire through a dry bush, investors began pouring in. For the past four years that I had returned, I hadn't made such profits as I was making now. I had grown the company by an extra 85% and tripling our profits in less than three months. It was beautiful, Rosewood had become like a phoenix. We had risen from the ashes. Thanks to all the hate comments and fake news that had spread, we had been able to achieve all these. "I'm so proud of you." My dad said to me one day over breakfast. "I just took after you." I replied with an eye roll. "Well... That's true." He nodded before we all at the table burst into laughter."But really, how could you do that to our stick prizes?" Sabrina asked. "They are just rising like crazy every single hour." She made a gesture of mid blowing with her hands making my dad giggle. "I'm almost jealous." She added with a pout before burstin

EIGHTEEN YEARS LATER. The chill in the air warned of approaching winter. The night sky was lifeless without a single star or the moon in sight. Silent, cold, like death. On the roof of a fifteen story building were two men, one younger and the other older. The younger man had his face hidden with a dark hood, but lifeless blue eyes peered out of the darkness. He had his arms folded, muscles bulging under his hood, his skin covered with scars, bullet holes, and tattoos. He had a handsome face, quite striking. But there was no emotion on that face. He watched the street below, the people who hurried about trying to get home before the storm came. The young man stood deathly still one would think he was a statue. "Do you understand your mission?" The older man asked in a gruff voice. He walked up to the younger man's side, making sure to keep a safe distance. "Yes." The younger man replied, coldly. "And please, don't bring in dead bodies. I need them alive, are we clear?" From a

The plane is in transit." Exhaling in anger, she sat down as the jet moved off the runway and into the air. "What of mum?"Winston smiled looking out the window. "What do you think?" Before his sister could reply, Dr. Shirley walked in, handing Winston a tablet. "It's still in position." She announced with a smile as Nova walked over to them. "What is that?" She asked."Well my dear sister," Winston said as he looked at the red flashing dot on the screen. "Four years ago, Morgan was Dr Shirley's patient. I had Dr Shirley plant a small tracking device in her."Nova gasped and faced him. She grinned impishly and wi

She had a sheet mask on her face and was eating a bowl of cut apples.I picked up three gowns and held them up. "Which one?"She bummed and stroked her chin. "Hmm, this is really hard.""Oh come on." "I'm serious Morgan. I can't say. ""Just try.""Okay..." She started. She narrowed her eyes and leaned closer. "The white one... Purity... Nice. The red one... Sexy... Good. Morgan's POVSIX MONTHS LATER:I lowered the music blasting through my car radio as I tried to parallel park. "Morgan?!" Sabrina's voice came through the speaker. "Guess what I just saw?" I asked Sabrina on the phone as I made to park my car."What?""Listen and don't interrupt.""Okay..." From her voice, I knew she was confused but nevertheless, she'd figure it out. I cleared my throat and began to recite the headline I had just seen. "CEO Sabrina Emily Rosewood, tops the chart as the youngest CEO of Rosewood enterprises to top first three in profits, assets and company growth in less than seven months.""What the hell?" She burst out laughing. "Seriously... You shouldn't sing my praises like that. It's creepy.""I'm creepy." I said with a chuckle. I took my phone and purse and walked out of my car. I headed up to the building in front of me. "Yeah. You are." She said fondly. "I gotta go. My dad needs my help with something.""Again..." She groaned. "I barely even see you these

  • She's back   unethical practices

Morgan's POVThe consistent ping ponging of the door bell shut me out of my haze of confusion and uncertainty. I stared at the screen of my television watching as the investigators were ceasing boxes an boxes of files from Winston's office as they announced that he had been arrested last night as an accomplice in my dad's murder. How was I supposed to take that? The man that I had lived with since I was disowned by my dad happened to have a hand in his murder. But I couldn't understand it at all. Nova killed my dad, while Winston was an accomplice. How and why? It didn't make sense. The ping-ponging continued, but it seemed too far away as I slipped back into the news. The news droned on saying the had been sent an anonymous tip and we're grateful to whoever it was."During the investigation," The anchor continued. "The police have discovered evidence of slush funds, unethical medical practices alongside malpractices and other law punishable offences that are yet to be discovered.

  • She's back   Winston and Sabrina

Sabrina's POVI ended the call, feeling disgusted with myself. I had just lied. A lie that would come back to bite me in the ass. I hadn't told Morgan anything. Infact, I had told her that I wasn't hiding anything from her while I was hiding tons. And Winston, I wasn't looking into him one bit. I already knew everything. I had known everything since the reading of daddy's will. And here I was, going to his house as the sun was setting. By the time I got there, it was night. I rang the doorbell, and was ushered in by a butler with a smiley face as if he had been waiting for me to show up. I was led to Winston's study where he stood by the window, sipping from a glass of wine. He didn't turn nor acknowledge my presence until he had finished his glass of wine. "Does Morgan know you're here?" He finally said. His voice sending chills down my spine. "It's isn't proper of you to visit your sister's boyfriend in the dead of the night. " He turned to me with the most lifeless eyes I had e

Dante's POVI rang her doorbell, shifting from one foot to another. Today, she wasn't going to push me away like before. I was going to make sure of that. The speed she used in opening the door told me that she was expecting someone. Was it Sabrina, or was it Winston? I prayed it wasn't Winston. The last thing I wanted was him him in Morgan's life. "Hey." She moved the door to shut it in my face when I blocked it with my leg. "I won't let you push me away today or ever again Morgan. ""I don't want to talk to you. I have nothing to say to you." We struggled against the door till I exhaled and poured it all out. "I know Morgan. I know. I've always know. " Her grasp loosened making me take advantage of the opportunity and opening the door "You know what?"I paused looking at her as she gasped for breath after our little struggle with the door. "I know about the kids..." She went silent. Including her breathing. "I know they're ours."I finalized, exhaling."What?" Her voice was barel

Morgan's POVA knock sounded, alerting me of Mark's presence. "Hey." I nodded, stepping aside for him to enter. "You live here." He said rubbing his hands together as I moved him to the sitting room and disappeared behind the doors of the kitchen, returning with a can of soda."Sit wherever you want." I said sitting down in front of him. "Right." He sat, staring around the house. "Explain yourself." I said."Explain what..?""You." I exhaled, adjusting myself and exhaling. He nodded, setting the can down in the table in front of us. "You must have a lot of questions." He said."I sure do. And you're taking a long time to answer them.""What do you want to know?""How about everything?"He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. "Everything. Okay. Let me start from the top. • She's back   Dad is gone

Sabrina's POVThe stillness around the house was deafening. Morgan hadn't taken anything I had said seriously, and I couldn't blame her. I knew important things about her and didn't tell her about it. I had hurt her and even if she pushes me away when I try to make things right, I wouldn't be surprised. I deserved it. Including what the future held if I was ever to come completely clean and tell her the rest. I couldn't imagine–didn't want to imagine. It would be best for the both of us it I were to tell her the entirety of the truth, but she was still in shock about all that had happened. I couldn't add to that. My eyes drifted to the door, recalling how she had banged the door as she left, and how my mother had spoken to her. How could she be so insensitive? Did she really care for only daddy's will? Did she really love him?Morgan didn't deserve this sort of wickedness. From my mum or any other person. She had lost way too much for no reason and the last thing she needed was s
