Antoinette froze at the thunderous sound of her mate’s call. She’d just been caught after she’d tried running away from him. She held her son closer to her as he slept away. She was terrified of what Odus would do to them both.
She watched the doors fly open before the Blaze brothers walked in. One was her fated mate, while one she had once loved. She felt betrayed by both of them and she wanted nothing to do with them. Unfortunately, she had a duty to her people.
“How dare you!” Odus said angrily, eyes blazing.
“I had to. You’re a monster Odus,” she replied.
