— Once upon a time in Italy…
After a few hours on the road, we were in a piece of paradise lost in an almost-returned location in Italy.
I felt at peace after so long.
The Valley of Yellow Dreams was a small town that had been founded, more than one hundred years ago, by a large Brazilian family coming directly from Bahia, Brazil. It was built within large, imposing mountains, surrounded by endless forests, open fields, and overlooking a paradisiacal sea almost all the way to the town center. It was only a few kilometers away from the nearest town with a larger population. The inhabited place was the closest to where Veronica's grandmother had settled after leaving the United States and returning to Italy.
