I was glad that I could finally tell the truth to her. I knew that I had to rectify what John did, so I went to the company before she could come.

Everyone still treated me the same. They wished me, and some even called me boss. I asked them to call Hailey the boss now, but it seemed like they took her too lightly.

I will slowly change this. 

Finally, I saw Hailey entering the company. She seemed nervous. 

“Don’t you need an assistant?” I asked her. She smiled, but was more nervous. “Let’s talk inside,” I said.

She nodded slowly and then we went into her cabin. 

“You? And assistant?” her eyes were building out in shock. “no-no, that is bad”

“It is not. I can assist my wife”

“No you can't,” her voice was bold. I chuckled and went to her.

I kept my hand on her cheeks. “Do you want me to beg to be your assistant?”
