Glancing at Jeff, Hades questioned, "You sure you want to help her?"

"Don't say I didn't warn you—she can't afford to pay you," Hades retorted with a sneer.

Chuckling, Jeff declared, "I take on pro bono cases too sometimes."

Hades' expression soured. "Are you sure you don't have any feelings for her, Jeff? Why do I find that hard to believe?"
