Hades gulped as he felt her cold lips on his jaw. He proceeded to tighten his grip around Alanna's neck.

When he spoke, his voice had turned hoarse. "Ms. Jacinto, did you think a small kiss would be enough?"

He then caressed her neck and said, "Continue."

Alanna frowned. "Mr. Florentine, we still have a banquet to attend."

Hades raised an eyebrow and laughed after a moment. "Then you can owe me for now."

With that said, he took a shawl and draped it around Alanna's shoulders. "Let's go."

The banquet was being held at a villa. It looked like it was a private event.
