They pushed Hailey back to her room after her check-up.
The room was a luxury suite.
While lying on the bed, Travis Blake stood in front of her, unintentionally frowning at her ghastly, pale appearance. Fortunately, the doctor said she was fine; otherwise, he didn’t continue that thought.
He hadn’t expected her to be so fragile. If he had known, he wouldn’t have splashed cold water on her.
After reflecting on his actions for a second, he blamed Hailey for getting drunk and going into a drunken frenzy. He wasn’t the only one to blame.
A strand of Hailey’s hair stuck to his forehead, so Travis Blake unconsciously moved closer to fix it. Upon completion, the realization of his out-of-character actions caused a vein to burst.
“Wipe her up,” he instructed Katie.
Watching his series of actions without missing a beat, Katie chuckled.
