Amelia's pov

I stared at him stunned, my eyes ready to pop out of their sockets. The words left me breathless and a bit spaced out. As he starts the engine and it purrs to life as he pulls out of the driveway, I am still staring at him gobsmacked.

" Earn my heart?" I echoed in disbelief, staring at the sharpness of his jaw. Raiden was stunning.

I pull my eyes off, my face flushing at the thought of being caught staring at him like he was my next meal.

" That's right spitfire," he nods, his tone hoarse and firm. " I don't care to earn brownie points. I just want to earn you."

My heart skips and my belly twists with nerves. Being in this confined space with Raiden will not help my mind.

" And you think kidnapping me and making me miss my next classes will make me give you what you want?" I scoffed, crossing my arms over my chest to somehow get control of my emotions. It doesn't quite work which is frustrating.
