Amelia's pov

The cafeteria was safer. I should have known that. I should have also known that Raiden wouldn't have let me go this easily, especially since I had denied him in front of everyone.

Though he did not look embarrassed and had only looked the opposite, I am certain he did not like that I told him off basically in front of the entire school. I stormed out of the school, breathing in the scent of fresh air after being stuffed inside there.

The slightly cool breeze was a welcoming relief after what transpired and I began to walk briskly away from the school, my steps fueled by the frustration and anger I had because of what Raiden had stirred with his words.

But as I walk further onto the driveway of the school, I can't help but still feel the heavy weight of his gaze on me, the intensity of it all, his words...... just the way his body felt against mine when he pulled me flush against him.

My cheeks felt hot and I cleared my throat.

" I'm in your head,"

My brows furrowed

yes I agree... im soooo into this story but waiting so long for only 2/3 chapters is taunting

These chapters are so short and they really aren’t going anywhere. More of the same. “I hate you, I want you.” I think it was on a better track when she was attacked at the school and they had to break the truth to her.
