Holly stared at the message quietly.

A sense of dread permeated her insides.

In the two years that Bryce had been paralyzed, she and Arthur hadn't been close. However, Arthur had still respected her.

"Since you've taken the money, you should be a good girl and stay away from Bryce. A billion dollars isn't exactly pocket change. It could determine if someone gets to live the rest of their life in peace."
