Holly only noticed Bryce at that moment.

The tears around her eyes were just hanging there at first. But when she saw him, they poured out immediately.

She softly said, "James saved me. I should be here to pay him my last respect."

Holly forced out a smile. "You weren't harsh."

Bryce pinched her cheeks, took the umbrella from Tobin, and held it above her head. "Listen to me, and don't be so stubborn next time."

His doting voice felt familiar, making Holly feel strange inside.

It was as if their relationship hadn't changed at all.

The divorce was like a dream.
