Violet
Waking up, everything hurt. My whole body felt heavy and it felt like someone was sitting on me. I tried lifting my arms to rub my face but, they would not move. All I felt all over was a searing pain and burn. My head felt like it weighted a hundred pounds and my arms and legs felt the same.
*Triggers for violence* Unknown POV We were all gathering in the banquet hall where we would be meeting with our 'boss'. This had been a long time coming and when I got the call from the last person I was expecting to, I got the other men and called a meeting. “Are you sure this is a good idea?” One of my men, Beckett, asked in a nervous tone. I don't blame him for being nervous, he was still young and
Mike It was early in the morning, the sun wasn't even up yet and I was in the gym. I needed to be ready for what was coming today. I was getting Vi back no matter what it took. If anything were to happen to me, at least I knew she would be safe with Alex and Nicole once that asshole is taken down. The only thing that mattered to me was her and her safety. Me, I didn't care what happened to me as long as Vi was safe. I was punching the punching bag when Alex walked in. “Hey man. You need to take it easy. You need all your strength for when he take him out.” He said as he walked
Violet Hearing the word “Angel” brought a glimmer of hope to my mind. I was so excited he was here, but I was also scared of what Ted would do. When I felt the cold metal of the gun on my cheek, I knew he was staking his claim. A million things were going through my head on how this would end. Would I make it out alive? Would Mike? What would happen to Ted after this, and would he come after me again? I was praying that we would make it out alive until I heard Ted talking about me. I turned my attention to the conversation and was not happy with what I heard. Mike was really trying to make a deal with Ted to work for him. What shocked me the most was when Mike said he didn’t want me, and Ted could have me. He was so calm, and his demeanor was relaxed. I guess he was really done with me and no longer loved me like Ted had said. I did my best to keep the tears from falling from my eyes as I looked at Mike with pained eyes. I couldn’t believe he was giving up on me. The thought alone mad
Violet As soon as we were outside, Ted headed right for the SUV that was waiting. I knew this was the end and I was never going to see Mike ever again. I was not going down without a fight. I was still kicking my legs and punching Ted’s back no matter how hard he dug his fingers into my thigh. Feeling him slow down. I knew we had reached the SUV. He placed me on my feet with my back to him as he placed his gun on my side. “Fallon, get the door.” Ted ordered as he tried to stop me from struggling. “No!” I screamed as I thrashed in his hold. I lifted my foot and brought the heel down hard on his foot, causing him to lean forward and grunt in pain. “You’re going to pay for that you slut.” He gritted in my ear as he tried to catch his breath. “I’d like to see you try.” I swung my elbows back, trying to hit him on his sides. “I’ve had enough of you!” He growled, moving the gun to my chin. I stilled for a moment, contemplating whether it would be worth it. I knew it would get me away f
Mike The moment we set foot outside, the bullets began to rain down all around. I took cover behind the first thing I saw. I quickly scanned my surroundings to see Alex off to my left and our men all around taking cover as they shot at the other men. I turned my attention in front of me to see Ted holding Vi in front of him as he shot wildly at our men. I couldn’t wait to put a bullet in that motherfucker’s head. If anything happened to Vi, there would be hell to pay. Little did Ted know; we still had the snipers on the rooftops. “Anyone have a clear shot?” Someone spoke through the earpiece. “No, he has the girl in the way.” Another said. “No one shoots unless I give the word!” I barked over the earpiece. The shooting was still going on and didn’t seem to be stopping any time soon. I kept Vi in my peripheral while I focused on taking down as many of the opposing men as I could. After seeing his men go down one by one, I was getting more and more confident. That was when I heard V
Violet It has been a month since everything took place with Ted. It has been a whirlwind of a month and emotions as well. I still have nightmares about everything that happened and every time I wake up, Mike is there to comfort and soothe me. Over the past month, I have been going to therapy to deal with all the trauma. It has helped me cope, but having my friends and Mike by my side has been extremely helpful. They are always there to distract me and keep my mind off everything. It has not been easy but knowing that I am safe and no longer have to look over my shoulder is a blessing. Mike has not left my side, even for therapy, and when he has to go to meetings with daddy, Nicole is glued to my hip. Like right now. We are currently in the theatre room of the mansion Daddy gave us to live in. The mansion is gorgeous. It’s two stories tall, with marble floors and pristine walls. The artwork is amazing and breathtaking. We are in upstate New York in the middle of the mountains. The vi
Mike It’s been a month since Vi has been home where she truly belongs. The past month has been a whirlwind of emotions. The first week she was home, I never left her side, even though she refused to be alone with me or let me touch her. The only time I left her side was when I had important meetings to attend. While I was away, I ensured that Nicole and six men were always with her. The second week, we made progress. She actually let me near her, but not touch her. It was killing me to be so close to her, yet still so far away. I was just thankful Nicole was there to support her. Then, last week, she let me touch her. Now, we were still not back to the intimacy part of our relationship yet, but just being able to hold her in my arms was enough for me. Finally, the time has come. Since she has been healing and dealing with the trauma of what happened, I decided now was the time. I couldn’t wait any longer. I had Nicole distract her all day while I was busy setting everything up, with
Violet After the unexpected proposal from Mike, we had the best dinner and date of my life. Never has anyone treated as well as Mike has. The food was amazing as always. The wine was chilled with a crisp sweet flavor. The night will definitely be one of my favorite memories, aside from our actual wedding day. I had enlisted the help of Nicole in planning our wedding. The moment we got home she bombarded me, yanking my hand to see the ring. She immediately went into everything we needed to do, right down to the date. It was all making my head spin, so I appeased by telling her we would talk in the morning. After everything that happened tonight, I was in a much better place. I was feeling more comfortable with myself and those around me. I decided to do something I'd been wanting to do for about a week but was too scared. While Mike was getting ready for bed, I went into the bathroom to get ready to surprise him. It’s been a few months since we were intimate with each other, and I mi
Mike This was it. The day I’ve been waiting for since I saw what a beautiful woman Vi became. She was everything I wanted and more. Her sense of humor, personality, and wit were the things I loved about her the most. Her eyes though. Those big bright blue eyes drew me to her every time. They were my all-time favorite things about her. Her body, those curves in all the right places. I was one hell of a lucky man. I was so blessed to have her in my life, and I wasn’t ever going to let her go again. She wouldn’t be able to get rid of me even if she tried. I was currently in the suite getting ready with Alex and a few of our men. We decided to have a small wedding party with those we trusted the most. Alex was knocking back shot after shot of whiskey while I was nursing mine. I didn’t want to be trashed and not remember this day. I wanted to remember every detail about Vi and the new memories we would be making. “What’s up with you man?” Alex nudged me, bringing me back to the present.
VioletToday was the day. The day I’ve been waiting for since I can remember. After everything we’ve been through, we finally made it to our big day. I was standing in front of the floor-length mirror as Nicole adjusted my veil. I look at myself, taking in how much weight I’ve put on since returning. I was eating better, sleeping better, and getting ‘exercise’ daily. As I looked at how my dress hugged all my curves, I couldn’t help but to think back to last week.FlashbackI woke up feeling sick for the third day in a row. I tried to keep it from Mike since he was busy with things, but I didn’t do a good job when I ran into the bathroom door on my way in. As I was acquainting myself with the toilet for the third day, Mike came in behind me and pulled my hair back.“Angel…” I could hear the concern in his tone, and it was killing me. I never wanted him to be concerned again. Wiping the back of my hand over my mouth, I looked up and mumbled, “I’m alright.” I tried to stand but was hit
