Why would he want to talk about the night they spent together? Does it even make sense? Scarlet was dumbfounded.

“Why do you want to talk about that day? it was a mistake” Scarlet said to him and saw how his brow furrowed.

“A mistake?”

“Yes it was a mistake, I was drunk and so were you”

“Does that explain why you have been avoiding me?”

“I have had one night stands before, and I don’t avoid them later because they don’t start calling and testing”

“You have had one night stands before?” Diego repeated what she said and he suddenly felt annoyed “You didn’t expect me to call or test which is why you have been avoiding me?”

“Well that is part of the reason” she said sincerely

Diego leaned closer to her “What if I tell you I didn’t regard it as a one night stand, but the beginning of something more” he said as he looked at her straight in the eye

Scarlet blinked and her cheeks burned “Is this how womanizers behave?” She bit her bottom lip when the words came out by mistake.
